I love The Smiths too! Interpol is currently my favorite band, as well as Broken Social Scene, the Stills, and Bloc Party. I like Radiohead alot too.

Anyone else into early 90's grunge rock? Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, etc. I love that stuff...you can't beet that kind of angst.
