Chapter Eleven: Dreaming your Dreams
Liz sighed softly and traveled deeper into her dreams as she slept soundly in her huge warm silk bed.
She was in her castle walking along a dark corridor. A bright light was in front of her calling her to follow as she walked in its glow. She then opened a large engraved iron door and entered a small chamber that held a huge iridescent purple, green, and blue triangle that hovered in the middle of the room.
The warmth of the light filled her body and caused her heart to fill with its power as her body started to glow. She then saw two amber eyes looking at her as she walked towards the triangle. The figure reached out his hand to hers and Elizabeth tried to grab it however once she embraced the stranger hand it turned cold as ice and vanished as she began to fall down a dark cavern.
Next thing she knew she was running for her life as fire took hold of the hallway. She could feel the heat of the flames engulfing her skin as she heard terrible screams as the people of Rosoline ran from the terror as their kingdom burned. Liz screamed in terror as she heard a horrible haunting laugh in the distance.
She screamed in terror and opened her eyes as she tried to catch her breath as fear took over her body as a dark figure came closer to her and she pulled away from it horrible clutches.
"Shh" Elizabeth." The soft velvet voice said as Max touched her cheek. "It was just a dream." He said seeing the fear in her eyes. "Max" she said breathlessly. "Oh god it was horrible...I ...I saw fires and...My kingdom burned...and ...and...I couldn't stop it." she whispered softly as tears formed in her eyes as her body shook.
"Shh Liz its ok. You’re safe now." Max said as he pulled Liz closer to him in a hug as she cried softly against his chest. He rubbed the back of her back as her breathing eventually calmed down. Liz then looked up at him with tear stained eyes as Max wiped the last of her tears.
"How… how did you get in here anyway?" Liz said once she regained her senses realized that Max was in her chamber. "I had loves light wings to guide me" he said softly as he looked deep into her eyes.
Liz smiled "Loves light wings more like wings named Isabel. I could just kill my sister." She said as she smirked and shook her head as Max laughed. "I will have to thank Lady Isabella later for such a sweet dream." Max said as he engulfed Liz with a passionate kiss.
"Max" Liz sighed when they broke from their kiss. "Thank you." she sighed as she looked up at him. He then threaded his fingers through hers as he squeezed her hand. "My sister Serena used to get some terrible nightmares as well when we were kids.
She was so stressed most of the time and shaken up after the dream that we would run around or dance or something to get her mind off of the nightmare. Anything to have a good laugh. Aftwards I would stay with her until she was asleep." Max said as he rubbed his fingers across Liz's hand.
"You and your sister must have been really close. I am sure she was very honored to have a brother as you." Liz said softly. "Yes she was." Max said smiling as his mind drifted back to a time when he and his sister were laughing and smiling in their small dark chamber as Serena twirled and danced in the moonlight.
"So do you want to dance?" Max said softly as he looked into Liz's eyes. "Ok" she whispered as the two of them made their way off the bed and into the middle of Liz's room. They didn't need any music the music of their heart guided them as they danced in the moonlight. "It's been a while since I have danced." Liz said as she twirled around as Max pulled her close to him. "Really I find that hard to believe." Max said as they swayed back and forth.
"It's true the last time I danced was at Sir Alex and Isabel’s wedding. That was about 3 years ago. I had to dance with Alex's cousin Sir Douglas It was horrible the man could of been drunk and still a court jester would of been lighter on his feet." Liz said as her and Max laughed.” I am sure he wasn't that bad." Max said smirking.
"No it was horrible. Thank god Alex saved me or else he would of been looking for a new cousin." Liz said smiling. "Wow I didn't know the Queen had a mean streak in her. I better be more careful." Max said laughing as he twirled her.” Don’t worry for you I will make an acceptation." Liz said as Max caught her.
"My lady I am forever grateful for you saving me from the evil wrath. Max laughed as Liz smiled. "Oh but I am evil." Liz whispered huskily as she looked seductively into his eyes as she engulfed him with a passionate kiss.
They stopped dancing as Max wrapped his arms around her pressing Liz against his body as they kissed each other in the moonlight. Liz caressed the nap of Max's neck as his hands threaded through her long hair as they moved and fell on top of her bed. Their hands roamed each others body as their skin raged and burned as if it was on firer. Liz moaned as Max started to attack her collar bone with sweet intoxicating kisses.
She breathed hard with each new sensation as Max kissed her sweet mouth as his hands started to unlace the back of her silk gown. Liz threaded her hands through Max's hair as their kiss deepened as the laces became more loss along her back exposing more of her flesh as Max caressed her back. Liz shivered against his contact as an aching she had never known consumed her body.
"Max...Max" she cried breathlessly. "Max we...we...I...I can't" she sighed as Max broke from his daze and looked up at her as Liz tried to catch her breath. "I can't do this." she said softly looking into his eyes. Max looked up at her and saw the distress in her face. He looked at her worried and concerned thinking maybe he hurt her.
Liz swallowed and sighed as she caressed his face. "It's not that I don't want to...it's just this is happening all too fast...and...and I just want to wait...because...because...I don't know man. I’m… I'm a virgin." Liz said distressed as she looked up at him with concerned eyes.
Max sighed and kissed Liz on the forehead. "Elizabeth shh. It's alright. I am so sorry. Of course we can wait. Now you are not going to believe this but I am one as well." Max said blushing. "What? But you are a king how is that possible? I am sure you had thousands of ladies willing to do anything at your beckoning call just to say they slept with royalty." Liz said shocked as she sat up in her bed.
"Well I am not like every king. And yes I am telling you the truth." Max softly as he blushed. "Don't worry I won’t tell anyone." Liz whispered as she squeezed his hand. "I won't tell either your secret is safe with me." Max said as he smiled.
"Can I marry you then?" Max said grinning as Liz looked at him in shock. "I don't think any talk about marriage will be going on here tonight. And don't use that as your excuse to get me into your bed." Liz smirked as she batted her eyes.
"But I am already in your bed." Max said laughing. "I guess you are. Well since you are here then I guess it would be alright for you to stay with me. I mean after I tried to seduce you and all it is only proper." Liz sighed. "Sure I will stay. Anything for my Lady." Max said laughing.
Liz smiled and then yawned as sleep was starting to take over her body. "I think we both better get some rest." Max said as he climbed in bed next to Liz. "Thank you for tonight." Liz said softly. "Anytime." Max whispered as he drew Liz close as they both entered into their world of dreams.

Chapter Twelve: Firer In The Sky
Sir Alexander and his group of knights ran in the cloak of the shadows as they ran deeper and deeper into the woods. They had been traveling for quite some time and were getting closer to Lavilla with each step.
Then they saw it the burning glow as if the sky had been on firer as they drew closer to the kingdom.
"What madness is this" Sir Christopher whispered as he and Sir Alexander drew closer. "Stay close and be alert" Alexander yelled to his group of men as he drew his sward.
They entered the burning kingdom as villagers ran screaming into the night. In front of them they saw a tower burning as smoke engulfed it from every side.
"Go and gather the villagers I and Sir Christopher will go to King Larrick! Quickly!" Alex ordered as his men dispatched and ran to help give aid the burning city.
Alex and Chris ran as fast as they could with their swards drawn ready to fight. They entered the smoke tower and covered their mouths with their clocks as ash stung their eyes as they searched frantically to find King Larrick.
Christopher swung his sward as he killed one of Kivars knights as he and Alexander fought to gain access into the tower. They fought some more men and slay them as they ran up the stairs to the king’s chamber.
Alex could see the heavy wooden door in sight as he pushed against it. However it would not open. The heat was intensifying as the fires anger raged on. "I can't get in help me!" Alex yelled as Chis pushed all his weight against the door.
It gave a little bit and then swung open full force as they rushed inside to see King Larrick hunched over in his chair. The two knights rushed over to him in the smoke filled room.
"King Larrick" Alex whispered "I am Sir Alexander from Roseoline I am here to help." he said as the king coughed and wheezed as Alex and Chris grabbed his shoulders and dragged him out of the room.
The quickly ran down the stairs as they fought for freedom. "Leave me with him. Go tell the others to get the hell out!" Alex yelled as Chris ran down the stairs.
Alex soon followed just in time before the tower exploded into a golden cloud of firer and smoke.
They ran as fast as they could as the city was in total ciaos from the massive attack. Alex then regrouped with his knights in a near by cottage. "We will stay here until morning." Alex said as he lay King Larrick down. "You will be safe here." Alex whispered. "Thank you" King Larrick said weakly.
"Sir Kivars men have retreated. I saw them heading east should I follow?" Sir Mark said in a panic. "No we stay here. The last thing I want is for Kivar to find out that Roseoline knights were here. We must wait." Alex said forcefully as he gave orders to his knights.
"What darkness could have caused this?" Alex whispered as he looked on to destroyed kingdom. "I pray Queen Elizabeth will be strong enough." He said with saddened eyes as he looked at the burning firers.

Queen Elizabeth opened her eyes it was still early morning and the sun had not risen yet. "Good morning my lady." King Maxwell said softly as Liz sighed. "How did you sleep?" "Like a dream" Liz whispered as she pulled the covers close to her.
"Well I must go." Maxwell said getting up from her bed. "No stay." Liz whispered softly. "I wish I could but I must. It is not proper if someone should find me here in the queen’s bed. They will start to question and no good can come of that." Maxwell said as he looked into Liz's eyes.
Liz then rose from her bed and walked over to him. "I don't care." Liz said softly. "Liz you were the one who said yourself you wanted to keep this a secret." Max said looking into her eyes as they glowed in the dim firer light.
"I know" Liz said as she looked downward. "But we would be living a lie." she said softly as she looked up at him. "How can it be a lie when we love each other?" Max said as he touched her cheek with his hand.
Liz slightly pulled away. "I don't want it to be a lie or a secret but there are some things I have to keep hidden. Please if anyone found out they could destroy not only me but you as well. Please Max." Liz said as her voice shook. "I do love you. That is why I am trying to protect you." Liz whispered.
"You love me" Max said in aw. "Yes and that I can't keep a secret." Liz said softly as she looked into his eyes. They then kissed each other in a fiery passionate kiss as Max cupped Liz's face in his hands. They then broke from their kiss breathless.
"Then let’s both hide together and create our own secret world where no one will find us." Max said breathlessly as he kissed her again. "I want you to meet me tonight by the old brook. Be there when the moon is in its fullest state." Liz sighed as looked deep into his amber eyes.
"I will be there." Max said as he and Liz kissed passionately. "Go now I shall be waiting." Liz said breathlessly as they both laughed in between kisses as they kissed one last time before Max left through the secret door that lead him into Liz's chamber.

Chapter 13: Great Expectations
The ambers dimmed as ash and soot filled the damaged kingdom. Sir Alexander and his knights awoke as morning rays were creeping across the landscape.
They had for most of the night been up nursing the fallen King Larrick back to health. He lay in bed sleeping peacefully as Sir Christopher kept watch.
"Sir Alexander I just received word that Sir Kilyan and his knights are not far away from here. They are in the land of Hanna about about a fortnight away." Sir Mark said as he entered the cabin and waited for orders.
"Go and tell Sir Kylian and his knights we shall meet them as soon as possible." Sir Alexander said as Sir Mark nodded and left the cabin.
"Hmm" King Larrick murmured as he slowly opened his eyes. "King Larrick." Alex said rushing to the kings beside. "Sir Alexander you are a sight for sore eyes. Last time I saw you...you were just a little page starting his knight training." he said as he smiled weakly as he took hold of Alex's hand.
"It's good to see you awake. Here drink this." Alex said offering Larrick some water. "Thank you my boy." he said taking a sip of the drink. "Tell me is Lavilla...is she..." he said as his voice shook.
"Lavilla still stands. She might be broken but aw I never saw a finer kingdom." Alex said smiling as King Larrick smiled as tears of joy filled his eyes.
"Oh thank god." Larrick sighed. "God bless you Sir Alexander if you and your men had not shown up I am not sure if I still would be here." Larrick said looking up at him with smiling glowing eyes.
"You are safe now. My men are attending to your villagers and will stay as long as they can to make sure Kivar does not attack again. "I give you my word Lavilla will not fall as long as Queen Elizabeth of Rosoline is alive." Alexander said squeezing the Kings hand.
"Now get some sleep." Alex said pulling the covers up close to his old friend.

Contessa snuggled in her warm bed as she opened her eyes to the new day. Her room was still dark and cold as Kivar entered. "Contessa you are up." Kivar said as he looked at her.
Contessa stretched and sighed "Yes Kivar what is it you want." she said.
"Your display last night was amazing." Kivar said smiling. "Which one causing havoc on the kingdom or making love to you." she said smirking.
"Both" Kivar said grinning. "Now that Lavilla had a taste of what I can do it will only be a matter of time before word gets to Queen Elizabeth about Lavilla's attack and she will be running to their aid." Kivar said as Tess sat up in bed.
"And then we will attack Lavilla again and this time even more powerful of an attack however in the meantime when Queen Elizabeth is busy with Lavilla we will be attacking Hanna as well. The skins will be more then willing to make a visit there." Contessa said smiling as she kissed Kivar.
"Yes so tell me do you have any more magic up your sleeve?" Kivar said looking at her seductively. "Oh you know me I always have magic up my sleeve" she said seductively as she looked at him.
Contessa then laughed "Oh you just leave Queen Elizabeth to me. She won't know what hit her." Contessa said as she smiled wickedly at Kivar.
"Oh that old back magic has me in its spell. That old black magic that you weave so well. Under that old back magic called love." Kivar sang as he pulled ConTessa into a kiss.
"I love you. How did I get so lucky." he whispered as Contessa smiled. "I love you too" Contessa whispered softly.
"Come my Queen we have much work to do." Kivar said as he extended his hand to her.
"Yes much work to do indeed." Contessa said as she grabbed Kivars hand and kissed it.
"Now please leave. I must get dressed." Contessa said as she rose from her bed.
"I think undressed I like better." Kivar whispered into her ear as he came up from behind her and caressed her shoulder.
"There will be plenty of undressing tonight. Now please go." she said as she smiled at him innocently.
"As you wish my Queen. I will see you later." Kivar said as he kissed her forehead and then left.

Chapter 14: A Moonlight Discovery
The moonlight shown its silver light as it caste its path along the sparkling brook as Liz waited patiently.
Maxwell made his way through the shadow of the tees as the moon light lit his path as he walked deeper and deeper into the forest.
A grove of trees came into view as he saw it the shimmer of the brook as a beautiful night creature stood in the shadows.
He walked closer to the maiden and engulfed her with a passionate kiss. "Max. You made it." Liz whispered breathlessly. "I wouldn't miss this for the world." He whispered as he kissed her again. "Come follow me." She said as she beckoned him to follow her as she turned and ran through the forest. Max ran after her as Liz laughed in the darkness.
They then came across a cottage deep in the woods. Liz then walked up the stairs and pushed the wooden door open. "Hello" She cried in the dimly light cottage as her and Max entered. "My child I have been expecting you." an old woman dressed in a deep blue and silver dress complete with a dark blue cloak said as Liz smiled.
"This is Oracle Claudia." Liz said as her and Max shook hands. "King Maxwell of Antar." Max said taking the woman’s frail hand. She stared into his deep amber eyes and smiled. "It is an honor." she said "Please make yourselves at home. I was just making some tea." Claudia said as she took Elizabeth and Maxwell's cloaks.
The two of them then sat down on the large velvet couch as a raging firer greeted them with warmth as it glowed in the fire place.
"Oracle Claudia I have known my whole life. She is like a grandmother to me and helped raise me after my parents died." Liz said smiling as she watched Claudia pour the tea.
She then handed Liz and Max two huge cups of the warm liquid.
"This is my special blend. I hope you enjoy it." Oracle Claudia said as she watched Liz and Max take a sip of her tea.
The tea was very sweet and flowery yet had a hint of something bitter. However, the tea was very relaxing and soothing and very very warm. "It's very good. What do you call it?" Liz said taking another sip.
"Moonlight Passion." Oracle Claudia said as she watched the two take another sip.
Claudia then fixed herself a cup of tea. However her tea was of a different kind then the one she had given to Max and Liz. She then sat down across from them in a huge arm chair with her tea cup in hand.
"What brings you to Rosoline King Maxwell?" Oracle Claudia said as she sipped her tea. "Please call me Max. Well my...My kingdom fell one dark night under the hands of Kivar. It was horrible there were massive firers and great blood shed.
I was lucky enough to escape and find my way to Rosoline where Queen Elizabeth was so gracious enough to give me shelter and protection." Max said as memories of that fateful night flashed into his mind.
"Oh I am so sorry. Is your family still alive?" oracle Claudia said seeing the pain in the stranger’s eyes. "My sister Serena and my younger brother Samuel are still alive. However my father King Phillip is dead. He died recently and well my mother has been dead since I was a boy." Maxwell said somberly as he took another sip of his drink.
"Where are your brother and sister now?" Claudia asked. "They are escaped to the land of Hanna with a group of my core knights." Max said looking at Claudia. "Sir Alexander and his knights are on their way to get them." Liz said as she looked at Max and then at Claudia.
"I see." Claudia said as she shook her head. "Elizabeth I forgot I have some sweet bread in the oven. Could you go and check on it and if it is done please take it out of the oven so that it might cool?" Claudia said smiling.
"Of course." Elizabeth said placing her tea cup down and headed towards the kitchen.
"Thank you my dear." Claudia said as she left room. Once Liz had left Claudia turned towards Max.
"Do you remember anything about your mother?" Claudia said softly. "No she died shortly after Samuel was born. I was seven at the time. The only thing I remember was that she had very beautiful golden hair." Maxwell said trying to remember his mother.
"Have you lived in Antar your whole life?" Claudia said as she shipped her tea. "Yes." Max said as he sipped his tea. "Tell me have you heard of the stories about a special kind of people who held special powers. They were a very rare people." Claudia said as she looked towards the firer.
"Yes I have heard the legend they were children of the stars but they all perished in a great battle decades ago." Maxwell said as Claudia looked at him. "Come here my child. I want to look at your face in the firer light." Claudia said softy as she waved her hand gently towards Max.
Max placed his tea down on the table and came closer to Claudia. "Knee down." she whispered. Maxwell did as she said. He wasn't afraid of the old woman in a way he felt as if he had known her all his life.
She ran her hands ever so slightly over his face tracing his features with her hands. As her mind wondered her eyes grew glassy in the firer light. "Now close your eyes and just relax." she said softly as Max closed his eyes as Claudia placed her hands along the temples of Max's head.
Claudia then closed her eyes. Then the flashes came. She saw Maxwell when he was a child running in the forest with his sister and Brother Samuel laughing and playing in a near by stream.
She then saw a flash of Maxwell training to become a knight, then when he was crowned king. Next she saw him dancing with his sister, and then teaching his young brother how to fight using small sticks as swards.
Next she saw him at his Fathers funeral. She then saw him running as fires burned and knights fell and people screamed as his kingdom fell. She saw him kiss his sister and brother goodbye before he fled. Next she saw a series of flashes of him and Liz.
Max first meeting her that rainy night his kingdom fell. Their talk in the chapel late at night, Them at Dimaras rock sharing their first kiss, dancing in her room, declaring their love for each other in her chamber, and then the final flash came of Maxwell mother Queen Diana hugging her little boy before she was killed by Kivars father.
Claudia then gasped and opened her eyes just as Maxwell did. "My child." she said in aw. "It can't be." she whispered. Maxwell looked up at her with innocent eyes. She then placed her hand on Max's head in a few minutes a small blue, purple, and golden whirlwind appeared and then made a V out of golden stars before it disappeared. Max look in wonder
"Zander" Claudia whispered as tears filled her eyes. "Yes? How do I know that name?" Maxwell said as the familiar name rang in his ears. "Maxwell Zander. I never thought I would see the day when I would look upon Queen Diana's son again." Claudia gasped.
"Your mother was Queen Diana. She was one of the people of the stars. I was her friend for many years. She made a pack with me long ago that her son and the daughter of Queen Nancy were to be married. Queen Nancy was Queen Elizabeth’s mother." Claudia said as tears ran down her face.
"Is it true?" Elizabeth said. Liz had come into the room earlier and witness the whole thing as Claudia and Maxwell rose to their feet. "Yes my child this is my man you were meant to marry." Claudia said smiling. Max and Liz looked at each other as the news of what they had just heard sink in.
They then ran and hugged each other as the reality of what just happened started to come into light. Tears of joy ran down their cheeks. Claudia then hugged them.
She then took both of their hands and smiled. "Come there is much to celebrating to do tonight. For it is not just any night. Tonight is also your wedding night.” Claudia said beaming.
"What!" Max and Liz looked at each other in shock. "Yes you two must be married on the first of the new moon which is tonight." Claudia said as Max and Liz smiled.
"But I must warn you. You can not speak of this. You must keep your marriage in secret. Do you understand? Your safety depends on it." Claudia said in a serious tone. "Yes." Max and Liz nodded.
"Good then once the bonding ceremony takes place you two will be bounded both body and soul forever. Do you understand?" Claudia said looking at Max and Liz.
"Yes" they both said together. "I see you are more then eager to get started." Claudia chuckled as she looked at Max and Liz as they blushed.
"Now children I must go and prepare the proper ceremony robes and rituals together and then we can begin. Elizabeth, your robes were your mothers they are in my room as are yours Maxwell.
Please get dressed quickly but in separate rooms of course. I trust you were going to but I must say these things I am an elder after all." Claudia said as she smiled a warm smile.
"Oh I can assure you Max is very respectful." Liz said smiling. "I'm sure he is. It will be my honor to marry you both." Claudia said smiling at the beautiful woman of a girl she had known long ago.
Liz smiled as her and Maxwell bowed and made their way to get ready for their wedding.
The moonlight shown its silver light as it caste its path along the sparkling brook as Liz waited patiently.
Maxwell made his way through the shadow of the tees as the moon light lit his path as he walked deeper and deeper into the forest.
A grove of trees came into view as he saw it the shimmer of the brook as a beautiful night creature stood in the shadows.
He walked closer to the maiden and engulfed her with a passionate kiss. "Max. You made it." Liz whispered breathlessly. "I wouldn't miss this for the world." He whispered as he kissed her again. "Come follow me." She said as she beckoned him to follow her as she turned and ran through the forest. Max ran after her as Liz laughed in the darkness.
They then came across a cottage deep in the woods. Liz then walked up the stairs and pushed the wooden door open. "Hello" She cried in the dimly light cottage as her and Max entered. "My child I have been expecting you." an old woman dressed in a deep blue and silver dress complete with a dark blue cloak said as Liz smiled.
"This is Oracle Claudia." Liz said as her and Max shook hands. "King Maxwell of Antar." Max said taking the woman’s frail hand. She stared into his deep amber eyes and smiled. "It is an honor." she said "Please make yourselves at home. I was just making some tea." Claudia said as she took Elizabeth and Maxwell's cloaks.
The two of them then sat down on the large velvet couch as a raging firer greeted them with warmth as it glowed in the fire place.
"Oracle Claudia I have known my whole life. She is like a grandmother to me and helped raise me after my parents died." Liz said smiling as she watched Claudia pour the tea.
She then handed Liz and Max two huge cups of the warm liquid.

Chapter Fifteen: Lost Before the Dawn
Elizabeth looked at her reflection in the mirror. She looked regal in her long flown gown.
The gown was white with silver and gold embroidery that wove around the bodice of the dress as it made the royal seal of a whirlwind. The sleeves covered her arms and tapered off into a triangle that were slightly inline with gold thread.
Oracle Claudia came into her room as Liz turned to look at her. "You look so much like your mother." Oracle Claudia said softly as tears filled her eyes as she gave Elizabeth a hug. "Thank you" she whispered as tears filled her eyes as she smiled.
"I came to give this to you." Oracle Claudia said as she placed a small silver Celtic knotted band around Liz's head as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. "There now you look like a Queen" Claudia said as the two of them looked into the mirror. "It's beautiful" Liz said softly as she smiled.
"Here my child drink this. It will help calm your nerves among other things." Claudia said giving Liz a dark blue vial. Liz took a sip of the sweet liquid and handed the bottle back to Claudia. "Tonight Elizabeth there is nothing to be scared about." Claudia said smiling at her.
"Why would I be scared?" Liz said confused. "Maxwell would never hurt you." Claudia said looking into her eyes. "Oh" Elizabeth said in shock as her eyes widened as the realization of what Oracle Claudia was saying to her finally sunk in. Suddenly the temperature in the room felt warm as her cheeks started a deep crimson.
"Elizabeth. Come here." Claudia said as she sat down on her bed. Liz soon joined her. Claudia then took her hand. "Tonight is a very special night. The bonding ceremony goes back generations. It is something that is very pure and scared.
Two souls coming together as one is very serious and very beautiful. It is the deepest and truest love at its best. And well what I am trying to say is that it's ok to be nervous especially since you have never done this before." Claudia said softly as Elizabeth listened.
"I once became a Queen to a great and powerful land. I knew nothing about being a Queen but I think I turned out alright." Elizabeth said as she smiled and squeezed Claudia’s hand.
"I will be fine." she said softly.
"He is a good man."
"I know" Liz whispered as her and Claudia shared a hug. "No matter what always love each other." Claudia whispered in her ear. "We will." Liz whispered as they both rose and left her room.

Claudia then left Elizabeth in the living room as she went to get Maxwell.
Max was just putting on the finishing touches on his robes as he placed a silver band around his head which held the royal seal of Antar a V encircled around a Celtic whirlwind. His garments were white as well. They too had the same silver and gold embroidery around them.
"Well don't you make quite the king." Claudia said as she entered the room smiling. "I try." Max said shyly as he smiled looking at his reflection in the mirror. "Elizabeth is in the other room. But I wanted to give you this before we get started." Claudia said as she gave Maxwell a small vial that shinned like diamonds.
"This is starlight. You must drink it." Claudia said as Max hesitated and then drank the sweet liquid.
"Thank you" he said smiling. "So are you nervous." Claudia said as she helped Max button his robe in place. "A little." he said laughing nervously. "Maxwell Elizabeth is a very beautiful and pure soul. I trust you won't hurt her." Claudia said looking into his eyes. Maxwell stared into her eyes.
"Tonight is a very special night. The bonding ceremony goes back generations. It is something that is very pure and scared.

"Oh forgive me my child. I didn't know you were...I'm so sorry I just assumed being you were a King. Forgive me." Claudia said in shock. "There is nothing to forgive you for. You were just concerned." Maxwell said as a small blush creped across his cheeks.
He then gave Claudia a hug. "I always knew you were different." Claudia whispered. "You found an amazing woman." Claudia said looking deep into his eyes as they broke from the hug. “I know." Maxwell said softly. "Always love each other. And Max love her. Love her till it hurts." Claudia said softly. "I already have." Maxwell said as he bowed before her and then left the room.

Liz rose as Max and Claudia entered the room. "You look like Venus." Max said breathlessly when he caught a glimpse of Liz as she glowed in the firelight. "Thank you. You look amazing." Liz said softly as Max took her hand. They then smiled seeing their hands intertwined as they looked up at each other.
"My Children the moon is in its fullest and night is in its darkest hour. It is time to start with the wedding ritual." Oracle Claudia said as she lit some candles and burned some sweet and bitter inscents.
She then whispered some words in a language that was very distant from Max and Liz yet familiar. After that Max and Liz had to breathe in the inscents and let them wash over them as they repeated the strange chants three times.
After that they had to drink a very very sweet and powerful liquid after which they lit some candles and join hands and closed their eyes.
In a matter of seconds flash upon flash was pulsating through Max and Liz with Claudia as their channel as they flooded one another with memories and with emotions of love and devotion.
A huge light was filling up the room as the royal whirlwind of stars engulfed them and then disappeared. Max and Liz gasped breathlessly as they opened their eyes in aw of what just happened as they looked at each other.
They then finished the final chant. Claudia smiled. "You are now husband and wife." Claudia said as Max and Liz pulled each other into a sweet and passionate kiss.
"Go now back to the castle and seal for eternity what you have started here.” Claudia said as she gave Max and Liz a hug and kiss goodbye. They then went and got their cloaks. "Be careful my children in the forest and make it to the castle safely." Claudia said. "We will" Max and Liz said as they entered into the shadows of the night.

Max and Liz entered Liz's chamber through the secret door as Max carried her over the threshold and whirled her around before engulfing her into a passionate kiss. "I love you" Liz said in between kisses as tears ran down her checks. "I love you" Max said as he helped Liz out of her cloak.
"I can't believe we are married!" Liz said breathlessly. "I know. Shh Elizabeth I have a surprise for you. Close your eyes." Max whispered softly into her ear. Liz closed her eyes. When she opened them her chamber was a glow of candles and covered in white rose petals. "Maxwell how did you?" She gasped in aw. "Thank you, It's… it's beautiful." She whispered.
"You’re beautiful." Max said as he drew her into a passionate kiss. Their kiss deepened as a firer and passion they had no idea existed over took them. They held each other tight. "Max what’s happening?" Liz said breathlessly as she caressed his cheek. "I. have...no idea." He said in between kisses.
"Do you want to go to my bed?" Liz whispered huskily into his ear as he kissed her collar bone. He then pulled away "Bed" he said as if it was the first time he had spoken the word. "My bed Max" Liz said as she bit her lower lip. "Right" Max said nodding as he tried to break out of his sexual haze.
Liz lay on to her soft bed as Max followed. Once he sat down. Liz sat up and started to push him down onto her bed as she kissed him hard. "Can you take your shirt off?" she whispered her eyes full of desire. "Can I?" Max said a little hesitant and then sat up as he slowly unbuttoned his shirt. It fell to the floor in a soft thumb.
Liz stared into Max's eyes and then her eyes traveled down his chest as her hands delicately traced the outline of his muscles and his body. She kept on glancing up at him to see if he was ok as Max breathed in ecstasy. "You’re so beautiful" she whispered. As she began to place sweet kisses along his chest. "Liz" Max sighed as she continued her assault on his chest.
He then lifted her face up to him and gave her a passionate kiss. He then held her close to him as he even so slowly started to untie the lace of her dress. Liz blushed as looked deep into Max's deep amber eyes as he gave her a boyish look. She smiled and then took his hand and kissed it.
He then threaded his hands through her hair as he kisses her as he slowly pulled off Liz dress. Liz then got up off the bed and stepped out of the rest of her dress. She was completely naked as she shivered and covered herself with her arms. She then turned towards Max.
"Wow...you are so beautiful" Max said in aw as he got up from the bed and hugged her. Her body felt so warm against his naked chest as he rubbed his arms along hers. Liz then looked up at Max and kissed him.
"How did I get so lucky? I love you so much." Liz whispered as she kissed him. She could feel him blushing as she held his face in her hands. "Well this is a first I never knew a king could blush. You are human after all." Liz said seductively as she batted her eyes.
"I only blush in the presence of Venus." Max said as he captured her mouth in a sweet passionate kiss. Liz then pulled away from him and for the first time Max saw all of her body. It was more glorious then he could have imagined. She was the woman of his dreams and to him she was perfect.
"You are Venus my Queen." Max said softly as he walked behind her and caressed her shoulders as he kissed them. Liz smiled and laughed as Max's touch caused goose bumps to form all over her body. She then turned and looked at him.
"Well now that you have seen all of me I still have yet to see all of you." She said as she tugged at the top of Max's paints as she kissed him. "Who would have thought that the quite Queen of Rosoline would be so wild." Max said laughing. "Oh I told you I have my secrets." Liz laughed and smiled innocently.
"Don't give me that look." Max said as he looked up at her as he started to unbutton his paints. "What look" Liz said batting her eyes. "That look." Max said as he stopped. "Ok" Liz said shrugging her shoulders as she turned and made her way towards the bed. Max laid his paints aside.
"You’re not getting away from me that easily." he said as he started tickling her as he pinned her down on to the bed. "Stop it Max. Stop. Max!" Liz laughed as he tickled her body as she squirmed underneath him.
"Stop Max someone will hear!" Liz said breathlessly. "Who will this room is made out of stone walls and besides they will be hearing a lot more noise in here tonight." Max said smiling.
Liz rolled her eyes and laughed. Max then lifted Liz up so that they were sitting facing each other in her bed. It was then that Liz realized Max was naked. Her eyes widened as she blushed as she looked up at Max. "I guess we are even." Max said shyly Liz smiled. "Max you’re gorgeous. I mean all of you is just beautiful.” Liz whispered softly as she kissed him.
Max let out the breath he didn't know he was holding and looked into her eyes. Liz's deep brown eyes her soulful eyes were deeping with a new desire that Max was starting to see for the first time. As his deep amber soulful eyes started to mirror her same desire.
Max then lay Liz slowly down onto her bed as he pulled away the covers. He then moved above her and placed the blankets over them so that they were covered. They then started kissing each other passionately as their arms held one another tight.
Despite everything that was going on in their fallen and darkened world nothing could shatter this moment. They had done it created a beautiful and pure secret world full of love and passion that they only knew.
They then started to explore and caress each others bodies for the first time. Each touch felt like firer and pure ecstasy. They never wanted this moment to end as they kissed and loved every inch of their bodies.
"I never got to thank you for saving my life. I love you Liz."
"Thank you for saving mine. I love you. Max.
The two of them then whispered in their passionate strange language of how much they loved one another body and soul and how they would be bounded together for ever before they because one for the first time.
They gasped at the new sensation as they both received a flash together for the first time as a wave of love and emotion hit them. "Max you’re inside of me." Liz whispered in aw as tears fell from her face.
"You’re inside of me. Liz this is incredible." Max whispered as tears fell from his eyes and mingled with hers as they kissed passionately as they became deeper inside of each other.

"We are one" Liz said softly as she closed her eyes. "Forever" Max sighed as he closed his eyes and soon the two were in a deep dream filled sleep.

Chapter Fifteen: Lost Before the Dawn
Elizabeth looked at her reflection in the mirror. She looked regal in her long flown gown.
The gown was white with silver and gold embroidery that wove around the bodice of the dress as it made the royal seal of a whirlwind. The sleeves covered her arms and tapered off into a triangle that were slightly inline with gold thread.
Oracle Claudia came into her room as Liz turned to look at her. "You look so much like your mother." Oracle Claudia said softly as tears filled her eyes as she gave Elizabeth a hug. "Thank you" she whispered as tears filled her eyes as she smiled.
"I came to give this to you." Oracle Claudia said as she placed a small silver Celtic knotted band around Liz's head as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. "There now you look like a Queen" Claudia said as the two of them looked into the mirror. "It's beautiful" Liz said softly as she smiled.
"Here my child drink this. It will help calm your nerves among other things." Claudia said giving Liz a dark blue vial. Liz took a sip of the sweet liquid and handed the bottle back to Claudia. "Tonight Elizabeth there is nothing to be scared about." Claudia said smiling at her.
"Why would I be scared?" Liz said confused. "Maxwell would never hurt you." Claudia said looking into her eyes. "Oh" Elizabeth said in shock as her eyes widened as the realization of what Oracle Claudia was saying to her finally sunk in. Suddenly the temperature in the room felt warm as her cheeks started a deep crimson.
"Elizabeth. Come here." Claudia said as she sat down on her bed. Liz soon joined her. Claudia then took her hand. "Tonight is a very special night. The bonding ceremony goes back generations. It is something that is very pure and scared.
Two souls coming together as one is very serious and very beautiful. It is the deepest and truest love at its best. And well what I am trying to say is that it's ok to be nervous especially since you have never done this before." Claudia said softly as Elizabeth listened.
"I once became a Queen to a great and powerful land. I knew nothing about being a Queen but I think I turned out alright." Elizabeth said as she smiled and squeezed Claudia’s hand.
"I will be fine." she said softly.
"He is a good man."
"I know" Liz whispered as her and Claudia shared a hug. "No matter what always love each other." Claudia whispered in her ear. "We will." Liz whispered as they both rose and left her room.

Claudia then left Elizabeth in the living room as she went to get Maxwell.
Max was just putting on the finishing touches on his robes as he placed a silver band around his head which held the royal seal of Antar a V encircled around a Celtic whirlwind. His garments were white as well. They too had the same silver and gold embroidery around them.
"Well don't you make quite the king." Claudia said as she entered the room smiling. "I try." Max said shyly as he smiled looking at his reflection in the mirror. "Elizabeth is in the other room. But I wanted to give you this before we get started." Claudia said as she gave Maxwell a small vial that shinned like diamonds.
"This is starlight. You must drink it." Claudia said as Max hesitated and then drank the sweet liquid.
"Thank you" he said smiling. "So are you nervous." Claudia said as she helped Max button his robe in place. "A little." he said laughing nervously. "Maxwell Elizabeth is a very beautiful and pure soul. I trust you won't hurt her." Claudia said looking into his eyes. Maxwell stared into her eyes.
"Tonight is a very special night. The bonding ceremony goes back generations. It is something that is very pure and scared.

Maxwell said softly. "Always love each other. And Max love her. Love her till it hurts." Claudia said softly. "I already have." Maxwell said as he bowed before her and then left the room.

Liz rose as Max and Claudia entered the room. "You look like Venus." Max said breathlessly when he caught a glimpse of Liz as she glowed in the firelight. "Thank you. You look amazing." Liz said softly as Max took her hand. They then smiled seeing their hands intertwined as they looked up at each other.
"My Children the moon is in its fullest and night is in its darkest hour. It is time to start with the wedding ritual." Oracle Claudia said as she lit some candles and burned some sweet and bitter inscents.
She then whispered some words in a language that was very distant from Max and Liz yet familiar. After that Max and Liz had to breathe in the inscents and let them wash over them as they repeated the strange chants three times.
After that they had to drink a very very sweet and powerful liquid after which they lit some candles and join hands and closed their eyes.
In a matter of seconds flash upon flash was pulsating through Max and Liz with Claudia as their channel as they flooded one another with memories and with emotions of love and devotion.
A huge light was filling up the room as the royal whirlwind of stars engulfed them and then disappeared. Max and Liz gasped breathlessly as they opened their eyes in aw of what just happened as they looked at each other.
They then finished the final chant. Claudia smiled. "You are now husband and wife." Claudia said as Max and Liz pulled each other into a sweet and passionate kiss.
"Go now back to the castle and seal for eternity what you have started here.” Claudia said as she gave Max and Liz a hug and kiss goodbye. They then went and got their cloaks. "Be careful my children in the forest and make it to the castle safely." Claudia said. "We will" Max and Liz said as they entered into the shadows of the night.

Max and Liz entered Liz's chamber through the secret door as Max carried her over the threshold and whirled her around before engulfing her into a passionate kiss. "I love you" Liz said in between kisses as tears ran down her checks. "I love you" Max said as he helped Liz out of her cloak.
"I can't believe we are married!" Liz said breathlessly. "I know. Shh Elizabeth I have a surprise for you. Close your eyes." Max whispered softly into her ear. Liz closed her eyes. When she opened them her chamber was a glow of candles and covered in white rose petals. "Maxwell how did you?" She gasped in aw. "Thank you, It's… it's beautiful." She whispered.
"You’re beautiful." Max said as he drew her into a passionate kiss. Their kiss deepened as a firer and passion they had no idea existed over took them. They held each other tight. "Max what’s happening?" Liz said breathlessly as she caressed his cheek. "I. have...no idea." He said in between kisses.
"Do you want to go to my bed?" Liz whispered huskily into his ear as he kissed her collar bone. He then pulled away "Bed" he said as if it was the first time he had spoken the word. "My bed Max" Liz said as she bit her lower lip. "Right" Max said nodding as he tried to break out of his sexual haze.
Liz lay on to her soft bed as Max followed. Once he sat down. Liz sat up and started to push him down onto her bed as she kissed him hard. "Can you take your shirt off?" she whispered her eyes full of desire. "Can I?" Max said a little hesitant and then sat up as he slowly unbuttoned his shirt. It fell to the floor in a soft thumb.
Liz stared into Max's eyes and then her eyes traveled down his chest as her hands delicately traced the outline of his muscles and his body. She kept on glancing up at him to see if he was ok as Max breathed in ecstasy. "You’re so beautiful" she whispered. As she began to place sweet kisses along his chest. "Liz" Max sighed as she continued her assault on his chest.
He then lifted her face up to him and gave her a passionate kiss. He then held her close to him as he even so slowly started to untie the lace of her dress. Liz blushed as looked deep into Max's deep amber eyes as he gave her a boyish look. She smiled and then took his hand and kissed it.
He then threaded his hands through her hair as he kisses her as he slowly pulled off Liz dress. Liz then got up off the bed and stepped out of the rest of her dress. She was completely naked as she shivered and covered herself with her arms. She then turned towards Max.
"Wow...you are so beautiful" Max said in aw as he got up from the bed and hugged her. Her body felt so warm against his naked chest as he rubbed his arms along hers. Liz then looked up at Max and kissed him.
"How did I get so lucky? I love you so much." Liz whispered as she kissed him. She could feel him blushing as she held his face in her hands. "Well this is a first I never knew a king could blush. You are human after all." Liz said seductively as she batted her eyes.
"I only blush in the presence of Venus." Max said as he captured her mouth in a sweet passionate kiss. Liz then pulled away from him and for the first time Max saw all of her body. It was more glorious then he could have imagined. She was the woman of his dreams and to him she was perfect.
"You are Venus my Queen." Max said softly as he walked behind her and caressed her shoulders as he kissed them. Liz smiled and laughed as Max's touch caused goose bumps to form all over her body. She then turned and looked at him.
"Well now that you have seen all of me I still have yet to see all of you." She said as she tugged at the top of Max's paints as she kissed him. "Who would have thought that the quite Queen of Rosoline would be so wild." Max said laughing. "Oh I told you I have my secrets." Liz laughed and smiled innocently.
"Don't give me that look." Max said as he looked up at her as he started to unbutton his paints. "What look" Liz said batting her eyes. "That look." Max said as he stopped. "Ok" Liz said shrugging her shoulders as she turned and made her way towards the bed. Max laid his paints aside.
"You’re not getting away from me that easily." he said as he started tickling her as he pinned her down on to the bed. "Stop it Max. Stop. Max!" Liz laughed as he tickled her body as she squirmed underneath him.
"Stop Max someone will hear!" Liz said breathlessly. "Who will this room is made out of stone walls and besides they will be hearing a lot more noise in here tonight." Max said smiling.
Liz rolled her eyes and laughed. Max then lifted Liz up so that they were sitting facing each other in her bed. It was then that Liz realized Max was naked. Her eyes widened as she blushed as she looked up at Max. "I guess we are even." Max said shyly Liz smiled. "Max you’re gorgeous. I mean all of you is just beautiful.” Liz whispered softly as she kissed him.
Max let out the breath he didn't know he was holding and looked into her eyes. Liz's deep brown eyes her soulful eyes were deeping with a new desire that Max was starting to see for the first time. As his deep amber soulful eyes started to mirror her same desire.
Max then lay Liz slowly down onto her bed as he pulled away the covers. He then moved above her and placed the blankets over them so that they were covered. They then started kissing each other passionately as their arms held one another tight.
Despite everything that was going on in their fallen and darkened world nothing could shatter this moment. They had done it created a beautiful and pure secret world full of love and passion that they only knew.
They then started to explore and caress each others bodies for the first time. Each touch felt like firer and pure ecstasy. They never wanted this moment to end as they kissed and loved every inch of their bodies.
"I never got to thank you for saving my life. I love you Liz."

Chapter Sixteen: Scarborough Fair
In a dark chamber lady Isabella sat spinning at a spinning wheel as it turned and danced like a whirlwind as she turned it faster and faster as she wove the golden thread to make a beautiful garment.
It was her hobbies of sewing late at night especially she had just gone to Scarborough Fair that day or when she could not sleep. Tonight was one of those nights when sleep was not coming.
Isabel’s eyes grew as she was memorized by the wheels motion. She felt something in the air as she sat their staring at the wheel as it went round and round faster and faster as she plunged deeper and deeper into thought.
"Alex are you alright" she whispered to him in his dreams as their connection grew. "Isabel Yes I am alright what are you doing here?" he smiled as he kissed her. "I came to see you. I miss you." she whispered. "I miss you." Alex said as he kissed her.
"Alex something is not right I can feel it in my bones." She said concerned. "Please look for the ones pure of heart." she whispered. "I will. I love you" Alex said softly. “I love you. I must go. Sweet dreams Alexander." Isabel said as she kissed him lightly before her spirit left him.
Isabel then closed her eyes as she sank deeper into her hypnotic state. She then received flash upon flash of blood shed and graves of dead loved ones. She then received a flash of her placing a blood soaked garment at the foot of a grave as she wept.
She then saw a flash of her sister running through the forest as King Maxwell followed her. She then saw them outside of a cottage kissing as they ran towards the castle. She then received the final flash of Queen Elizabeth sending out knights into battle as great fires burned and then she saw her sister lying on the ground as blood soaked her gown as she cried her sister’s name.
"Elizabeth" she cried as she opened her eyes "Ouch" she said as she pricked herself on the spinning wheel. She sucked the blood from her fingerer as she was jolted back to reality as the spinning wheel stopped.
She then got up shacking as she looked outside as morning rays were coming over the moor as she looked towards the east. "God help us all. Is there no hope." she whispered as tears filled her eyes.

Elizabeth stirred from her sleep as King Maxwell smiled seeing her awake. She sighed "Do you know how beautiful you look when you are sleeping. Max whispered as Liz smiled. "I could watch you sleep for eternity." Max said as he kissed her forehead. "How did you sleep?" Liz asked as she snuggled into her pillow.
"Amazing it was the first time I actually slept and didn't have nightmares." Max said as he threaded his hands through Liz's tousled hair. Liz smiled and then got up and kissed him. Their kiss grew more passionate as Max cupped her face with her hands as Liz threaded her fingers through his hair. They then broke from the kiss and smiled.
"How do you feel?" Max asked concerned. "I'm fine a little sore but a good sore." She said as she kissed him. "How are you?" She asked as she looked up into his golden amber eyes.
"I'm fine." he said as he captured her lips. They then lay back down on to Liz's bed as they kissed each other passionately as the early morning rays just started to peek their golden ribbons through Liz's curtains.
"Amin mela lle" Max whispered softly as he kissed Liz softly. "I didn't know you knew the Elvin language" Liz said breathlessly. "There are a lot of things you don't know about me." Max whispered softly as he kissed her lips and then worked his way down her neck.
"Max" Liz sighed. "Lle naa vanima" Max whispered into her ear as he nibbled on her ear as kissed her neck. Liz then captured Max's mouth in a deep sensuous kiss. "I love you." Liz whispered softly as she rubbed Max's cheek with her hand.
Max then took her hand and kissed it. The two of them then snuggled close in the warm bed as they enjoyed hearing the beating of each others hearts. They stayed like that for quite some time until Liz broke the silence.
"I have to go."
"Why?"
"Well in case you have forgotten I am a Queen and I have duties to fulfill." Liz said looking up at him. "Can't you say you have fallen ill?" Maxwell said smiling. "I wish I could. I promise tonight I am all yours." Liz said softly.
"Ok but at least let me help you with your royal duties." Maxwell said smiling. "Oh really well you can start by kissing me." Liz said as she flashed him a sexy smile. "Yes my lady." Max said as he passionately kiss her. "And then you can kiss me here." Liz pointed to her neck. Max obeyed as he began his attack on Liz's neck. "Aw" she cried in delight.
Max then smiled as he looked deep into her eyes. "You can then pleasure your Queen." Liz whispered breathlessly. Max then kissed her hard as his hands roamed her body as she cried in delight. "AW don't stop. Please Max." Liz sighed as Max continued his assault on her and then they heard a knock on Liz's door.
Liz bit her lower lip as her and Max tried not to laugh. "It's MaryRia. Shh" Liz said as she pressed her finger on Max's lips. "Wait." Liz said softly. However the knocking continued. "I should go." Max whispered softly as he quickly got his things. He then kissed her again. "I will see you tonight." Liz said as she kissed Max. The knocking grew louder.
"Yes it feels like twelve life times till then. Good night my Queen." Max said as he kissed Liz. "Amin mela lle" Liz whispered softly as Max left through the secret chamber door.
"Come in" Liz sighed as she drew the sheets up close to her. "Isabella" Liz said in shock as Isabel entered the room. "Oh sister thank god you are safe." Isabel said as she hugged Liz.
"Isabel are you ok?" Elizabeth said concerned. "Oh Elizabeth it was horrible I had a vision of a great battle blood shed, death, I even saw...saw you...you dead." Isabel hallow voice echoed.
She then placed her hands on her head and shook her head in a fit of despair as Liz looked at her sister’s distraught state. Isabel then sighed and looked up at Liz. "Isabel I am safe. Nothing is going to happen to me." she said in a comforting voice.
"Where is King Maxwell?" Isabel said looking at her sister. "Why?" Liz said looking at her. "He was in my vision. I saw the two of you at a cottage in the forest and then I saw you kissing him and making you way back to the castle? I don't understand?" Isabel said looking at her sister.
"Isabel it was just a dream. King Maxwell is safe. He is in your chamber sleeping." Elizabeth said looking into her sisters eyes as a pain of guilt creped into her heart. It was the first time Liz had ever lied to her sister.
"Your right silly me it was just a dream. Thank god you are safe." Isabella said as she rose from Liz's bed. "Get some sleep Isabel you look exhausted." Liz said looking at her sister in the doorway.
"Thank you. I will." Isabel then glanced around Liz's room and then at her sister laying in her tousled sheets. Isabel then started noticing the slight dark circles under her eyes and slight pink glow in her cheeks.
"I am going to Scarborough Fair today if you need anything." Isabel said smiling. "Thank you my sister but I think I have all I need." Elizabeth said sleepily. "Of course." Isabel said as turned to leave and then slowly spun around as she grabbed the door knob.
"And King Maxwell is asleep in my chamber?" Isabel said looking at her sister as she stared into her eyes. "Yes" Liz said firmly.
"Right" Isabel said nodding her head. "Sleep well my sister" Isabel said as she closed the door behind her.

Liz bit her lower lip as her and Max tried not to laugh. "It's MaryRia. Shh" Liz said as she pressed her finger on Max's lips. "Wait." Liz said softly. However the knocking continued. "I should go." Max whispered softly as he quickly got his things. He then kissed her again. "I will see you tonight." Liz said as she kissed Max. The knocking grew louder.
"Yes it feels like twelve life times till then. Good night my Queen." Max said as he kissed Liz. "Amin mela lle" Liz whispered softly as Max left through the secret chamber door.
"Come in" Liz sighed as she drew the sheets up close to her. "Isabella" Liz said in shock as Isabel entered the room. "Oh sister thank god you are safe." Isabel said as she hugged Liz.
"Isabel are you ok?" Elizabeth said concerned. "Oh Elizabeth it was horrible I had a vision of a great battle blood shed, death, I even saw...saw you...you dead." Isabel hallow voice echoed.
She then placed her hands on her head and shook her head in a fit of despair as Liz looked at her sister’s distraught state. Isabel then sighed and looked up at Liz. "Isabel I am safe. Nothing is going to happen to me." she said in a comforting voice.
"Where is King Maxwell?" Isabel said looking at her sister. "Why?" Liz said looking at her. "He was in my vision. I saw the two of you at a cottage in the forest and then I saw you kissing him and making you way back to the castle? I don't understand?" Isabel said looking at her sister.
"Isabel it was just a dream. King Maxwell is safe. He is in your chamber sleeping." Elizabeth said looking into her sisters eyes as a pain of guilt creped into her heart. It was the first time Liz had ever lied to her sister.
"Your right silly me it was just a dream. Thank god you are safe." Isabella said as she rose from Liz's bed. "Get some sleep Isabel you look exhausted." Liz said looking at her sister in the doorway.
"Thank you. I will." Isabel then glanced around Liz's room and then at her sister laying in her tousled sheets. Isabel then started noticing the slight dark circles under her eyes and slight pink glow in her cheeks.
"I am going to Scarborough Fair today if you need anything." Isabel said smiling. "Thank you my sister but I think I have all I need." Elizabeth said sleepily. "Of course." Isabel said as turned to leave and then slowly spun around as she grabbed the door knob.
"And King Maxwell is asleep in my chamber?" Isabel said looking at her sister as she stared into her eyes. "Yes" Liz said firmly.
"Right" Isabel said nodding her head. "Sleep well my sister" Isabel said as she closed the door behind her.

Chapter Seventeen: Fever
Queen Elizabeth was busy for most of the day. She had meetings with the royal senate all day due to the current situation. "I see the current crisis with Lavilla has not lowered your spirits my Queen.
You look quite well." Senator Grave said noticing the glow in Elizabeth’s face. "Well one must not despair but keep their good spirits up. It helps make the situation a little better to deal with." She said smiling inwardly knowing remembering her wedding night.
"Yes very wise idea indeed." Senator Grave said smiling. "Well My Lady can I ask you then to have tea with me this afternoon. It has been so long since we have chatted." Senator Grave said as he gathered up his books and maps.
"I shall like that very much senator. Thank you." Elizabeth said as her and Senator Grave left the royal courtroom.

For the rest of the day lady Isabella was in a state of wonderment as she tried to figure out the mystery to her dream. She went to her old chamber to find Maxwell sleeping. Maxwell stirred when he heard her enter. "I am so sorry did I wake you?" she said feeling a little guilty.
"No please come in." Maxwell said rubbing his eyes and sat up in bed. "I wanted to ask you something. I have been racking my brain all day over. I had a dream last night in it I saw a terrible battle and my sister laying on the ground soaked in blood.
Then I saw you and my sister running in the forest and then kissing outside of a cottage and then running towards the castle. Does that mean anything to you?" Isabel said as she sat down on the edge of the bed and looked into his eyes.
Maxwell knew that he made a vow to Elizabeth that they had to keep their marriage a secret despite the cost. He hated lying but he knew they would tell everyone in due time. But now was not the time.
"I don't know. It was just a dream Isabella." He said hoping she would believe him. "Your right it was silly of me. I will let you get some rest. You look exhausted." She smiled sweetly as she got up from Maxwell's bed.
She quickly glanced around the room and noticed a silver band under a sheet by Maxwell's bed. She then dropped the keys she was holding and grabbed the sliver band and stuffed it into her dress pocket along with a white sash.
"Sorry stupid keys. I am dropping them all the time. I really should get a better chain." she said as she grabbed her keys and stuffed them into her pocket as she rose.
She then smiled. "Well I will let you be. Sleep well King Maxwell." She then made her way towards the door.
"Isabel Your sister is safe. There is nothing to worry about." Maxwell said as Isabella turned and looked at him. "I hope so" she said as she looked deep into his eyes before she shut the door.

Night was falling upon the city as Contessa worked in her dark chamber. She gathered a few bottles of various colors and poured them into a black caldron. The vapors engulfed her as the firer burned bright. She opened up her book and scanned the page.
"Let’s see what Queen Elizabeth has been up to shall we." she whispered as she closed her eyes. She then got a flash of Elizabeth first meeting Maxwell then of them sharing their first kiss at Dimaras rock and finally both of them confessing their love for each other." She opened her eyes and grinned as she laughed in delight.
"So the Queen of Roseoline is finally in love and with the fallen king of Antar no less. This is too good to be true." she cried as her eyes gleamed. She then went to her cabinet full of bottles.
"Never know how much I love you; never know how much I care. When you put your arms around me, I get a fever that's so hard to bear." she hummed as she looked through her collection of bottles as she shap her fingers and started to sawy back and forth.

"Your heart must melt every time you see him. And you must ache for his touch." She said as smoke exploded into the air as she opened another bottle.

"Oh you found your soulmate your Star crossed lover" She then opened up two more bottles and poured them in together.

She sang and swayed back and forth as she searched for a special bottle it was covered in dust and in a triangle shaped bottle.
"Now you've listened to my story, Here's the point that I have made:

"Eventually everyone gets burned Elizabeth" She said as she opened up the bottle and poured it into the burning pot.

Contessa sang as she poured the last of the liquid into the pot and it exploded into a deep purple smoke as she smiled and laughed wickedly.
"You'll see Elizabeth you'll see." She said as her eyes gleamed with an evil spark.
"What a lovely way to burn what a lovely way to burn what a lovely way to burn" she sang as the firer burned in the shadows of the night.
