Which Max and Liz scene made you cry/touched you the most?

the one scene that made me cry... It wasn't so much of a scene so much as sequence. When Max doesn't stand by Liz when she states that she didn't think Alex's death was a suicide. It all comes to a climax with the whole "if you get on the plane to Sweden" ultimatum. It just made me so sad that the group was falling apart.

For me it would definetly be "Destiny". When Liz walked away from Max I think my heart broke a little right along side hers!

It was that for me too. When Liz was saying all those things to him, and you could just see the hurt in Max's eyes. Also when she was looking into Alex's death, and went to see Tess, and Max turned up.

For me it was definitely in The Departure in Season Two when Liz asked Max if he loved Tess and he said not as much as he loved her. That bit was so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time!

For me it was at prom when Max kissed Tess and Liz went to the bowling alley to be with Sean. I was like yelling "no!" at my tv and I was so sad because I felt like their relationship was truly ending when I first watched that episode.

Same here. The idea that she gave up everything for him and that he would never know just broke my heart. And that she would never be happy again....
