“No!” he says quickly.

“I think we’ve probably got enough for one day and I can always come back another day for more, right? There’s no need to go overboard the first day. And please call me Kyle. Mr Valenti makes me feel old and grey.”

"Of course you can Kyke" I say with a smile. "Thats not a problem. Your always welcome" I tell him with a smile. I go over to him and hold out my hand. "Its been a pleasure working with you Kyle. When the photos are done Ill but them in a book and you can collect them or I can send them to to you. Whatever you want Kyle"

KYLE(temp)

"Its been a pleasure working with you Kyle. When the photos are done Ill but them in a book and you can collect them or I can send them to to you. Whatever you want Kyle" She says.

I nod politely. I wonder if she ever gets pissed off with being so nice to people all the time. One of the joys of football, I don’t have to be nice to the other players, I can just run up and knock to the ground, like smack and they are down and out. Man, I love football. It is the best sport on the planet.

“My personal assistant will most likely come and collect them. Chances are, she will like to go through them before they get sent to the magazine.” I state, glad that I decided to hire Laura to do all my dirty work. Yeah, being famous and rich has its perks.

“What club did you say that your friend worked at?” I ask, suddenly curious to see what Miss. Isabel Evans was like away from the camera.

OOC Sorry this took soo long. I've been out of town. Hope it's up to par.

*Liz*

My heart beats wildly as the cab pulls up to the curb in front of the apartment building I'm going to be inhabiting. Taking a deep breath I can't help but hesiatate. What am I getting myself into? My thoughts go back to the little convo I had with my agent two weeks ago.

"Liz, sweetie, couldn't love you more, but you have got to get out into the real world. Hiding behind your characters is not healthy." Zach, my agent reasons as I pace around his desk clearly irritated by his arguement.

"Hey, those 'characters' made you a very wealthy man." I counter shaking my finger for emphasis.

"Point taken. Okay, so what are you working on now?" he questions leaning back in his chair.

"Um..." Stalling for time I turn my back to examine the pictures of famous novelists on his wall. All people he has represented. Among these are Anne Rice, Dan Brown, Laurell K. Hamilton, Christipher Pike, and Stephen King. Basically all of my idols. How had I ended up here?

Writing has always been my passion. Conjuring up intriging plot lines involving conflicted yet lovable players has been a talent of mine for as long as I can remember. However it wasn't until this past year that I was recognized for it. Now that I've been #1 on the New York Bestseller the stakes have risen very high. I'm a B celebrity in my own right, and thats never what I wanted.

To say I have writers block is a huge understatement. I haven't written a word since my last book signing. In which a woman asked me ' You're first book was remarkable. How are you going to top it?' Good question.

Realizng Zach was still waiting for an answer I replied, " You know what? I think I'm going to take your advice. I'm moving to the city."

Coming back to the present I decide reluctantly, It's now or never.

Tipping the cab driver an extra five I open the door and step out onto the side walk. Instintively my hand goes up to shield my eyes from the insistant sun. Sizing up my surroundings I conclude that it doesn't look to bad. Much bigger than I'm used to.

"Well, Lizzie Welcome to your new life."

He nodds.

“My personal assistant will most likely come and collect them. Chances are, she will like to go through them before they get sent to the magazine.” he says matter of factly.

So the footballer has an assistant? God he's rich then.

“What club did you say that your friend worked at?” he asks suddenly.

For a moment Im shocked by the question, but then I quickly answer. "Oh she works at the Wreak" I answer. "You know, the hottest club in town" I tell him with a smile.

ALEX

“Alex, this is Max, Zan’s twin brother and probably one of the best lawyers in NYC.”

Twins? Great, I hope they are past the "dressing alike" phase.

"Nice to meet you Max." I greet the other man with a firm, manly handshake. Hopefully, I'll never need his services and if I do, then he won't be too expensive I hope.

"Have you even seen my place so far, Serena?" I ask when 'Max' doesn't say anything and there is a silence for a few moments.

"Yes actually. I live there. I'm on my way back from a business meeting." The vixen beside me responds and I can't keep from looking at her as she speaks, noting the frown that takes over her features and wanting to wipe it from her face. "I'm supposed to be sitting back there," she says and points toward the curtain behind us. "But there was a problem with my seat, so they moved me here."

"Well, a lady as lovely as you shouldn't be stuck back there." I can't help but compliment her, wanting to see her smile.

I take a sip of the gin I'd had delivered shortly before she'd sat down and look at her with curiousity. "So, I take it the business meeting didn't go well..." I start and then stop a moment before adding, "Unfortunately, in business there are times when meetings won't go well, but then you get those big meetings that shock you. Don't let it bother you too much." I smile at her.

Maria

"Well, a lady as lovely as you shouldn't be stuck back there." Michael says, and I blush briefly, taking another sip of my water bottle. It's nice to hear compliments when you're in a bad mood. Brings up your spirit.

"I'm flattered."

"So, I take it the business meeting didn't go well...Unfortunately, in business there are times when meetings won't go well, but then you get those big meetings that shock you. Don't let it bother you too much." He adds immediately after taking a sip of whatever alcoholic beverage he recieved.

There's shock on my face, hopefully not apparent. Am I that easy to read? I'll have to work on not showing my emotions so clearly. It's adds a little mystery.

"No, it didn't. But I appreciate the advice," I say with a smile, taking yet another sip of my water. I swear, I have so many nervous habits that I don't know what to do with them. Just be happy this isn't alcohol.

"So, why are you going to New York?" I ask, slightly curious.

I like how the blush lights her features after my compliment and how she looks at me with shock at my ability to read her. It's kind of cute. "No, it didn't. But I appreciate the advice," she says with a smile and I watch her sip her water again.

"So, why are you going to New York?" She asks and I can't help but smile.

"Business takes me back there. I've been away for a while helping with some family issues, now I'm going back to make certain things are in order." I respond, sipping my gin again before leaning my head back. "So, is there a boyfriend or husband in the picture?" I ask, hiding the curiosity as best I can.

I want to make certain that it seems as though I am simply asking in order to make conversation.

*Liz*

Dragging my old and tattered suitcase up the stairs I pause only to fish out the paper in my bag that has my room number on it. Finding my treasure I grin wildly until I notice the number has been smudged. Oh great. What do I do now? I can't bang on every door until I find Tess and Maria. Or can I? Hmm. Shifting the bag in my arms I lean against the wall.

I was just about to just turn around and go back when my agents words ranf through my head. 'You need to get a life.'

Oh alright. Making my way up the stairs I immediately notice two doors. One on the right and one on the left. Hmmm. Which to choose? Enie meanie minie mo. My outstreetched finger points to the entrance on the right. Strolling up the door, I tap lightly.

OOC I honestly don't care which apartment it iS. I just need an opening.

TESS

“Liz!” I exclaim with a bright smile. Okay, so it wasn’t the watch seller I was hoping and praying for but let’s be honest, the chances of a watch seller knocking on my door were very slim. I mean, is there even such a thing as a door to door watch seller?

But this is still so exciting. Liz is here and it doesn’t really matter that she is slightly early or that I haven’t had a chance to do half of the things that Maria told me to do. But I did manage to tidy up a little and I did put that loaf of bread in the oven so that it would produce that homely smell that Maria was ranting about.

Wow, this day has been great. A new roommate, a new pair of shoes and Maria, my best friend in the whole world, is coming home tonight. Yep, this has been a great day.

“Come in, come in.” I say, grabbing her old, tattered suitcase and dragging into the apartment. Wow, this suitcase is heavy and extremely ugly. Mental note: take Liz luggage shopping. "I'm so glad that you're here. Did you find us okay?"
