"They could have just got rid of you like they do to every eighteen year old, but no mom and dad wouldn't have that. What are you gonna tell dad when he sees the car is half a tank full?" Chris says, and I glare at him.

"I'll tell him you siphoned some, and he'll probably believe me too," I threaten him, but then Roxie gets in the car, so I go back to glaring.

"Hey Roxie, Make that our elenenth near death expierence." He adds, and I reach over and smack him across the head.

"You aren't dead, are ya? Hey Roxie."

I suddenly hear a roar of an engine and next think I know Elizz's cars pulling up beside me.

"Get in." I stand there for a second a bit shocked at there sudden and quick arrival.

"See Chris, the engine didn't give out,"
She sped here? Wow...

"I'll tell him you siphoned some, and he'll probably believe me too,"
Not understanding the conversation I hop on in.

"Hey Roxie, Make that our elenenth near death expierence." I watch as Eliza hits him. Ok...everyons hyper this morning.

"You aren't dead, are ya? Hey Roxie."
"Hey Eliza...Thanks for picking me up...hey Chris...guys" I say smiling.

~Jake~
"Hey let's just get to school before the principal is on our back again." I reply to Eli.

"We really need to get a move on. Don't wanna end up cleaning tables like Roxie." I tease.

Even though I know Chris works as a chief.

"Humph!" I say annoyed. "It comes with the parents unfortunitely" I grimmace. "And hey, at least I get an income of my own" I add.

"Yeah Jake it's good pay. And Speaking of good jobs guess what we found out about Meta Chem." I say to Roxie, wating for some kind of response.

I look at Chris surprised. "What?" I ask

I listen to all the conversations, but then we get to the highschool. "Chris, Jake, if you're gonna tell her, do so while you run to class. Because you are going to be late if you don't get there now, and I'm going to be late if I don't leave now."

With that, I rev up the engine again, and wait for them all to get out. "I'll pick you up after school."

Well today I've had such a bad morning. I have to run back and forth, in and out of class.

It sucks when your a teacher's assistant. I should have listened to Eliza and taken some other job, but no male pride got in the way of that.

"We'll tell you later Roxie. Let's get to class." I say opening the door, and watch as Eli speeds away.

Eliza

Once they're all out of the car, I drive off, and head to the University of New Mexica, where I've been going for about a year. Sage Evans, my boyfriend for a little longer then that, goes there too, and while I'm driving I pick up my cellphone to call him.

"Hey baby," I say when I hear him pick up the phone. "I just dropped them all off. I'm on my way back." I live at home because my parents were too sad to see me live at college, except for the few nights I stay with Sage. So I have to drive there every day. BUt at least it's only like ten miles out of town.

"Hey, to you too. Please tell me your morning has been as crappy as mine." I beg.

"Today just really sucks." I reply, as I'm shufling through teacher's files and records.
