That annoys me too.killjoy wrote:All these movie remakes are starting to get on my nerves.What?....is Hollywood so out of ideas that they can only copy old classics?
Another thing that annoys me, when directors always have the same actors in their movies. For example, Martin Scorsece (sp) and Leonardo DiCaprio. I seriously haven't seen a DiCaprio movie since Gangs of New York, I don't find his acting to be very believable, even though I've been told that I'm wrong and should watch some of his more recent stuff.
And... although it pains me to say it, Tim Burton and Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. I absolutely love Johnny Depp, but it's not fun to see him play the same zaney character over and over again... (Sleepy Hollow, The Corpse Bride, Willy Wonka *remake for you there, killjoy*, and now the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland?) I mean, he's definitely good at playing those kinds of characters, but he's so talented that he can do way better. But that doesn't annoy me nearly as much as Helena Bonham Carter always being in Burton's films does. It makes sense since they're dating or married or whatever, but seriously? Seriously? I didn't like her in Sweeney Todd, she sang so softly I could hardly understand what she was saying.
