Summary: Basically my story leaves off after Future Max leaves and Liz gives up max to safe everyone. But no matter how far away Liz goes the alien things follow her. Maria is having doubts about her and Michael and Isabel and Alex are finally together.
Author's Note: I really like feedback so please leave lots of comments good or bad! I started writing a story called Within You but it got buried but I am using the first part again because I wanna take it from there and recycle a little, I hope that’s okay!

Part 1
"LIZ!! I can't believe you didn't tell me that, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!?" Maria was screaming at me and I didn't blame her. But how do you tell your best friend that a future Max came to you and asked you to make sure he didn't love you, I would sound like I was on drugs. Okay, this was Maria and we do know aliens so maybe I was just in denial. It was only yesterday that I was dancing with future max under the stars, and then everything I have dreamed about for a year was gone. "Liz, Hello, are you hearing me? Please don't tell me you have picked up Space boys listening talent. Because I gotta tell you it’s not very flattering."
"Sorry Maria I was just thinking. I know I should have told you like when it happened but how could I? I had future Max with me the whole time. God, the look in Max's eyes when he saw me in bed with Kyle I felt like my heart was shattering into a thousand of pieces over and over again. I just can't get that look out of my head." It's true, I hadn't slept the night before; every time I closed my eyes I saw Max's eyes. How could I have done that? What if that wasn't really Max? I felt it, and then he was gone.
"I'm Sorry Liz! God, I can't imagine. I mean if future Michael came to me I probably would freak. And if he said I had to make sure we didn't get together I would be crushed, I think. But you know I wouldn't need Kyle all I would have to say to Michael is Commitment and he would run to his little space ship." I couldn't help but smile, Maria always knew what to say and plus it's true.
"Thanks Maria, I think right now I just need to probably take a nice long bath and put some good music on relax a little and then get some sleep. We weren't meant to be, I knew that coming into this. He had a destiny that didn't involve me. I'll live. “I forced a smile, I knew that Max Evans was the only guy for me, but I put on a front so I could relax a little without Maria analyzing everything. I hugged her and started running the water. I finally could relax and breathe. Sleeping tonight would not be a problem.
"Liz, Wake up! You’re going to be late for school." Damn, it's 7:45 I have exactly 10 minutes to get ready. I quickly throw on what was around me and put my hair up and ran to school, just in time to see Max talking to Tess.
"Liz! Hey Chica, What's up? Or I see the tramp is up to her usual, "Look at me, I’m blonde, skinny as a twig and got big boobs I can flaunt. How Charming. Ten bucks says she’s a fake blonde." Maria was trying to make me feel better and to be honest it kinda helped to know that someone was taking my side.
"Maria, you are so bad. But yeah thanks. What’s up?"
"There's a new guy, and Oh my god, he’s beautiful." Just as she was saying this, this guy I had never seen before walked past me. He was tall, about 6'2, and he had dark hair, tan skin, and ocean blue eyes. "Liz your staring, but who wouldn't. I mean come on he must be the love child of Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, of course one would have to be able to have kids, but you get my drift." The bell for first period rang, I said bye to Maria and ran to Biology. When I walked in Max and Tess were already sitting together, and the only seat left was with the new guy. I was more then happy to sit with him, but I couldn't help but notice Max touching Tess's hand, and I help this anger I never felt before and the next thing I know the new guy is hanging on to me.
When I looked up I noticed I was on the floor and in the new guys arms everyone was around me, even Max and Tess. Max looked like he was about to go all Chezoslavakian on the new guy.
"Uh I'm ok. I just got a little light headed really I'm fine. Thanks." I looked up at the new guy and he helped me up. I was looking so deep into his eyes I felt like I was getting lost and then I blushed. He just smiled, but how could you not stare at a love child of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Everyone went back to their seats and class began. Of course I was sitting with the new guy. "Thank you for uh catching me. I'm Liz Parker."
“No Problem, I’m Ryan. I just moved here from New York."
“Really? Wow, I always wanted to go to New York. Did you move here with your family?"
"Kind of, my parents died when I was little. So I’m here with what I consider family."
"Oh! I'm Sorry!" I immediately regretted asking. I looked over at Max and Tess. Max was looking at me; I couldn't help but fall into his brown eyes. Then Tess saw Max looking at me and she whispered something to him. He looked at her and smiled. That use to be my smile.
"Hey Liz, I was wondering if possibly since I don’t know anyone here maybe we could hang out and you could show me around?" This was my chance to move away from anything strange to have a normal life.
"Sure, my parents own the Crash Down Cafe, you can usually find me there." He smiled and walked away, he really was a god.

"Yo!" Rath screamed at Zan trying to get his attention. "Yo Zan!" Zan was in a trance.
"I just had a flash, I never had one of those before."
"What did you see?"
"Looks like we are going to Roswell!"

"Liz, slept with Valenti. Maxwell come on now, this is Liz we are talking about right? Are you sure you weren't sleeping?" Max only wished that what he saw was a dream but he knew it wasn't and he knew that no matter what that would always be what he saw when he looked at Liz.
"I saw it Michael with my own two eyes, I saw it all. But I don’t think it was really the fact that she slept with him that hurt me the worse. It was more the fact that he was making her laugh, something I couldn't do lately." Liz deserved normal and that was something he could never give her.
"Well whatever you say chief. So Maria thinks that me and Isabel are to like have a baby and do the deed or something. And now with you and Liz broken up she’s even more paranoid." Max knew that Maria hated the fact that they had destiny’s that didn't involve her and Liz.
"She will get over it soon Michael just pay more attention to her and make her feel special. Hey Tess." Ever since Liz had shut him out, Tess had been very supportive. She didn't make the first move, he did and he was glad. It felt right at the time and maybe just maybe Tess and him together they will somehow find a way home; he has no reason to stay now.
"Well I’m out. Bye Max, Tess."

"Maria I don't trust her. What if she like mind warped Max into believing that he saw that?" Michael had no idea what was going on with Max and Liz and he didn't really care except he didn't trust Tess.
"Michael, you might be on to something or maybe Liz let her hormones get to her. It's possible" Maria had been acting weird all day and he didn't understand what was up with her, half the time he didn't know what was wrong. He decided long ago that it’s just easier to say your sorry then actually figure out why she’s mad. Woman!
"Maria, what’s up? You’re keeping something from me. I can tell you won’t look me in the eyes." Maria started to pace around, Man what was going on.
"Okay, Space Boy, but you can't tell a soul! Not Max or Isabel. Okay? Okay, Uh Liz saw future Max, He traveled back in time to warn her to have him get with Tess or in the future we would all die. So she made him fall out of love with her." Michael knew something wasn't right about that. Something was wrong about that story, time travel? The Granilith was powerful he knew that, but not that powerful, there was no way. Something wasn't right about that story.

"Can I help you? Oh Hey Ryan! Sorry I didn't look carefully enough I guess. What can I get you?" Liz Parker looked perfect in her uniform. Ryan wanted to just pause that moment and have it forever.
"Uh Cherry coke please. Thanks" Liz was the girl he had been dreaming about for months, for years. For some reason he was drawn to Roswell not sure why, he left everyone he knew back in New York didn't even tell them where he was going. And maybe that was a good thing. Liz brought me my pop and slid in across from me. She smells so good and I just couldn't keep my eyes off her. I know I love her, I just don't understand why. "So how’s it going?"
"It's been a busy night, but it's finally starting to slow down."
"That's good." Silence, great I can't even keep up a convo with her. "So since I’m new in town I was wondering if maybe you want to like hang out on Friday maybe you could show me around? It doesn't have to be a date just a friend thing unless you want it to be."
"Uh, sure I’m off Friday. It's a date!" She said this as she watched Max Evans walk in the door.
"Well I better get going. I'll see you on Friday, Bye Liz." When I looked back I saw her walk to the back and the other waitress wait on Max Evans. Walking home, foot steps could be heard behind him, when he turned around he was in shock. "What are you doing here?"

"Liz, the new love child of Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise asked you out and you are wearing that? Sorry chica, but that’s just not hot enough. Let me show you what to wear." Maria grabbed her blue mini skirt and a black tank top that had an angel on it and gave it to Liz. Liz looked at it and smiled.
"Maria I can't wear this, it's to, um...," Maria just looked at her, the look that meant no-matter-what-you-are-wearing-this-I-don’t-care-if-God-himself-said-no. "Okay fine, but I want your black boots too." Maria looked at Liz and knew right away that men were going to bow at her feet. She also knew this might wake Max up a little.
"Liz, I swear to God, if I was a man I might just start to bow at your feet. You look good! You have to wear that. What time is he picking you up?" Maria knew that Max was in the Crash Down with Michael. Being as sneaky as she could with Michael’s help they planned it perfectly. Max would see her, get jealous and then beg Liz to take him back. The plan had to work; Maria would die before she saw Max and Tess together.

"Michael, what are we doing here again?" Max didn't want to be here, he knew that Liz had a "date" with Ryan. Max was there when Ryan asked Liz out, he heard Liz say it’s a date, and his heart broke all over again. Max just ran and some how he ended up right behind Ryan. He knew it was wrong to interfere with Liz's life but she didn't know this guy, what if he was a bad guy. What if he wasn't ready to let go of her yet?

How dare Max Evans trying to come between me and Liz, what does he have to do with anything anyway, thought Ryan. Ryan was running a little late but he wanted to look good for Liz. He wanted to make a good first impression with her father. He was wearing a khaki pants with a black t-shirt. He didn't want to look overly good, because then it would be obvious he was trying. He wanted to come off natural, but handsome.

"Hey Ryan, uh, this is my friend Maria De Luca." Liz couldn’t keep her eyes off him, he looked great. His shirt really showed off his eyes. Maybe there was life after Max.
"Hi Ryan, I’m Liz's best friend and protector - you hurt her or do anything beyond kissing and I’ll find you."
"MARIA! She's just kidding, such a joker." Liz gave Maria the evilest look in the world. Liz knew she meant well but she had to move on. At that moment she felt someone staring her down. She turned around and saw Max. She hadn't seen Max when she came down, but then again she was so nervous she hardly saw Ryan. Liz couldn't help but stare for a minute making eye contact with Max but this look was different then any other. She got a flash; it was Max’s point of view when he saw her and Kyle in bed together. That had never happened to her before, was the link between them still there?
"Liz, Uh you ready to go?"
"Yeah, See you later Mom," Liz gave Maria a quick hug as she said this and Maria just smiled.
"Have fun, kids!"

"You look really beautiful Liz." Ryan just stared at her; he couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked. She was even smelled good. He wanted to kiss her right there but it wasn't the right moment.
"Oh, thanks," Liz blushed like she always did, but Ryan loved that. They were driving out of Roswell to the desert. There was supposed to be a meteor shower, and Ryan thought it would be perfect romantic date.
"Uh so, I hope you like this. I thought it would be pretty cool." Ryan pulled to the side of the road, got out and opened the door for Liz; he took her hand and helped her out. He went to the trunk, grabbed the blanket and followed Liz to a spot. Right as they sat down the shower started. "Wow, great timing huh? It's almost as beautiful as you."
"It's incredible." Liz looked Ryan in the eyes and just then he knew it was the right moment to kiss her, so he leaned in and kissed her. She she kissed him back with passion.

Liz had only been kissed by two guys, Kyle and Max, and of course Max's kisses were the best. She always saw flashes of him as a kid or them together. She always thought Max had sent her the flashes, but how could that be if she saw a flash with Ryan? She saw Ryan as a kid alone, waiting in the street. Something was wrong with him. Then she saw him walking with people that looked like his friends or family, but the people were blurry.
"Liz, I’m sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, it just felt like the right time." Liz looked at Ryan realizing she had been lost in her thoughts.
"Ryan, I'm sorry, I got lost in my thoughts. Wow that was uh, wow." She couldn't even think of a word for it, it was something she had never felt before. Maybe Max wasn't her destiny.

“Wow isn’t even a strong enough word.” Ryan couldn’t think of a word strong enough to describe it. “I haven’t felt this good since, well, before my parents died.” He didn’t really want to talk about that, but it just came out.
“When did they die?” Liz whispered it and it sounded almost like it hurt her to ask.
“About a year ago.” He looked at Liz and stared into her brown eyes. He had never seen brown eyes like hers. They showed every emotion she had.
“I’m sorry.” Ryan felt her hand touch his shoulder. He reached for the hand and held it.
“Liz, I wish I could stay in this moment forever.” Ryan looked at Liz and she blushed but she squeezed his hand.
“Strangely, so do I.”

"Maria it was so … it was just, I can't even explain it." Liz had been rambling on about Ryan for an hour. How could she get flashes with Ryan, he wasn't even an alien … or was he?
"Liz, I'm happy for you but I got to go and talk to Spaceboy." Maria had to tell Michael and soon because something wasn't right about this. She said goodbye to Liz and quickly called Michael.
"Houston, we have a problem."
"Maria? What? You lose your green tea?"
"I'm serious Michael, I just talked to Liz and she said she got flashed when she kissed Ryan."
"What? Are you sure you heard right? That's not possible."
“Duh! I’m worried Michael; she’s really falling for him fast. I mean what if he has some kind of special Alien mojo power?”
“We don’t even know if he is an alien, maybe it was a mind warp from Tess.”

Liz thought she had met the guy who would be with her forever, the one she had been looking for since she was little. His name was Max Evans. Little did she know that he was just the opening act for Ryan. Ryan was everything Max was, but more. She felt like she had known him all her life and maybe in a past life. It didn't bother her anymore that Max was with Tess. Or, at least, that’s what she told herself.
"Lizzy, you have a phone call."
"Thanks Dad! Hello."
"Liz, It's Maria, We are having a meeting about Czechoslovakians, at Max's house, can you come over?"
"Uhm, I don’t know Maria I’m not really included in those things anymore." Usually Liz was the first to know of a meeting but now she was on the outs.
“Come on Chica, Max told me to call you and make sure you came. Please Liz come, you are wanted there.”
“Fine, I’ll be there soon.”
I just can’t look its killing me

"She's on her way. Max, this is wrong." Maria knew it was wrong to confront Liz about Ryan, she also knew it was wrong to tell Michael about Liz's flashes.
"Maria, what if he’s an alien!?! He could hurt Liz! I got you all into this and I can't just stand by and let her go, I mean let her get in trouble." Maria knew he just wanted Liz to be his forever; jealousy is a killer. Maria was nervous, this was her best friend since forever, she took out her Cypress Oil and started to inhale it. She was hoping it would reduce the stress she felt. Alex, Kyle, Max, Isabel, Michael, and Tess were all here and they were making her nervous. Maria pulled Alex to the side.
"Alex, we can't do this. Let Liz walk into a total ambush. I got her into this oh God; just wait till I get my hands on Spaceboy. This isn't right, Liz is gonna hate us."
"Maria, calm down. This is for her own good, but I know you’re right. Max isn't doing this to protect her; well, he is but he isn't. He's so jealous I can feel it."
“Alex, We can’t let him to this to her.” Maria looked around and noticed that Tess had taken Max’s hand. Maria made a sound of disgust just looking at the two of them. “I just get a feeling that Tess has something to do with this. She’s a tramp, a hussy, a slut; she took Max away from Liz.” Maria suddenly had a feeling someone had a feeling someone was right behind her, listening and watching.
“Maria, Next time you are talking about someone I suggest you do it when they aren’t ten feet behind you.” Tess ran out of the room not even looking back.
“She’s one of us Maria, it’s her secret you are protecting too. If you don’t want to protect her or us anymore, then go. You have no reason to be here anyway.”
“Max, I didn’t mean to. Oh shit yes I did! She is every one of those things I said. Whether you see it or not, Liz isn’t the one you need to worry about, it’s her.”

Max knew that this was just more than just keeping Liz safe, he knew he was jealous. But then again he had good reason to be. Liz was his true love, his one and only. Tess was his destiny and he had to be honest with himself about that. He liked Tess but sometimes it just felt wrong, like he was cheating on Liz. It was over with him and Liz, Liz and him could never a couple again even if he wanted to begin again. Tess was one of them now; he would do anything to protect her; just like he would for anyone else in the group.
"Uh I'm here! So what’s happening?" Liz walked in and Max was taken aback at how good she looked. She looked happy, happier than she ever looked with him. It was like a dagger in his heart.
"Liz, the group, uh, we wanted to talk to you about ... Ryan." It was hard for Max to say his name without wanting to explode something. When he saw her with Ryan on their first date he blew up the mustard bottle. She looked so good, in her mini skirt and tank top. She looked like his. She would always be his in his eyes. But when Liz looked at him, he felt daggers being thrown at him from her eyes. Liz was dead silent so he went on, "Liz we are worried, I mean you hardly know him. He's new here. What if he's an alien or FBI? We have to be careful."
"Excuse me, Max. But last time I checked I was human, and I’m not Isabel and Michael who follow every word you say. You can't tell me who and who I cannot see. You’re not my king Max Evans, you’re nothing to me." Liz stomped out, and left everyone with their mouths open.
"Well that went better then I expected." Kyle thought out loud.

Liz was furious she couldn't believe that Max thought he had the power to boss her around. She could feel her eyes sting to tears. He just didn't want her to be happy, no one did. She felt bad though, saying what she said about Michael and Isabel, she didn't mean it, she was just furious. She couldn’t believe that Maria had let her fall into that trap. She thought Maria was on her side, that she could tell her anything and be safe. But no the minute she told Maria something she ran to someone else and told them.
"Liz, wait." Liz turned around to see who was running after her and to her surprise it was Michael.
"Michael, I really don't want to talk right now not to you not to anyone. Sorry if I was harsh back there but Max Evans has no power over me." Liz was kept walking as she said this, she knew that if she stopped she would cry and wouldn't be able to stop. Before she knew it Michael was next to her. "Michael please go --" Before she could finish her sentence he pulled her into an alley and into a car.

Liz thought she had met the guy who would be with her forever, the one she had been looking for since she was little. His name was Max Evans. Little did she know that he was just the opening act for Ryan. Ryan was everything Max was, but more. She felt like she had known him all her life and maybe in a past life. It didn't bother her anymore that Max was with Tess. Or, at least, that’s what she told herself.

"She's on her way. Max, this is wrong." Maria knew it was wrong to confront Liz about Ryan, she also knew it was wrong to tell Michael about Liz's flashes.
"Maria, what if he’s an alien!?! He could hurt Liz! I got you all into this and I can't just stand by and let her go, I mean let her get in trouble." Maria knew he just wanted Liz to be his forever; jealousy is a killer. Maria was nervous, this was her best friend since forever, she took out her Cypress Oil and started to inhale it. She was hoping it would reduce the stress she felt. Alex, Kyle, Max, Isabel, Michael, and Tess were all here and they were making her nervous. Maria pulled Alex to the side.
"Alex, we can't do this. Let Liz walk into a total ambush. I got her into this oh God; just wait till I get my hands on Spaceboy. This isn't right, Liz is gonna hate us."
"Maria, calm down. This is for her own good, but I know you’re right. Max isn't doing this to protect her; well, he is but he isn't. He's so jealous I can feel it."
“Alex, We can’t let him to this to her.” Maria looked around and noticed that Tess had taken Max’s hand. Maria made a sound of disgust just looking at the two of them. “I just get a feeling that Tess has something to do with this. She’s a tramp, a hussy, a slut; she took Max away from Liz.” Maria suddenly had a feeling someone had a feeling someone was right behind her, listening and watching.
“Maria, Next time you are talking about someone I suggest you do it when they aren’t ten feet behind you.” Tess ran out of the room not even looking back.
“She’s one of us Maria, it’s her secret you are protecting too. If you don’t want to protect her or us anymore, then go. You have no reason to be here anyway.”
“Max, I didn’t mean to. Oh shit yes I did! She is every one of those things I said. Whether you see it or not, Liz isn’t the one you need to worry about, it’s her.”

But then again they had ambushed her and pissed her off; if that was Maria she would ignore everyone too. Maria had no idea what to do, she was worried, but knew that’s what she would do. "Michael, I can't find Liz, this is bad!"
"Maria she's probably just pissed off, let her cool off. She's fine."
“Michael, this just shows how much you know the female gender. WE DON’T RUN AWAY FROM OUR PROBLEMS WE FIGHT ABOUT THEM. You would think you would know that after going out with me for so long.” Maria slammed the phone down and started to call Max, but stopped. What good would Max do, he was the problem, not the solution.

“I am responsible for her, Tess. I brought her into this and now I have to make sure that she doesn’t get in trouble because of it.” Max walked away from Tess and looked out the window. “You don’t understand. I got all of them into this, if they get hurt because of us I will never forgive myself.”

Isabel was furious with Liz, how she’d treated Max and insulted her and Michael like they were under Max's spell and did whatever he said. They weren't dogs, well, she wasn't at least.

"Oh, that’s nice."
"And then they are going to attack and turn into evil aliens."
"Uh huh."
"And then we have wild sex, and live in lust forever."
"Can't wait." Alex couldn't help but crack up laughing at Isabel's responses; you would think that would wake her up.
"Isabel, you just said you would be my sex slave forever."

"I'm going to go, but I will be here if you need me, I know you have a lot going on Izzy, but I just want to say that I really like you. I hope you meant that kiss because I did. And I know it's not the right time to say this, but I think, no I know, that I love you." Isabel could feel her eyes tear up she had been waiting to hear that for a long time, and dreaded it all at the same time.

"My name is Zan, I look a lot like Max, because in a way I am Max. I was sent here with Michael, Max, and Isabel to protect them. Me, Rath, Lonnie, and Ava are all here to protect the real royal four. We were kind of decoys. We have the same DNA so-to-speak but we are more alien to protect them. Are you following me?" Zan looked at Liz, she was in shock but you could see that she was following along as best she could.
"So you’re … uh, ok. Uh I’m trying I think." Liz couldn't even make a sentence.
"Basically we are like the Secret Service. The only thing is we were separated. That’s where things kinda get confusing. Liz, Tess isn't part of the royal four, she never was. She’s one of us. The protectors, she was put with them just incase this happened. But she was a traitor to them, because she couldn't suppress her feelings for Max. Okay?"
"Uh huh" Liz was in shock she could barely answer.
"There’s more, and this is going to come to a big shock, because you won’t believe this. There was 4 others sent to earth but they weren't put in a ship, they were implanted into a human. They didn't want anyone to know that these four were out there. You, Alex, Maria, and Kyle are also aliens so to say. Liz, you are Max's mate and Michael and Tess are your brother and sister." Liz's jaw hit the ground.
"Uh, no that can't be, uh see I have no powers. None, zip, zero, nothing, sorry. I’m 100% human." Liz was in denial.
"Liz, the only reason you can't use your powers is because you need practice. Maria and Alex were twins on our planet. They were always your best friends; they don’t have active powers, so to say. They can do little stuff like make stuff fly. Maria is an empath, She knows when someone lies, if they are good, evil, and so forth. Alex was the head of your army's technology. He was and is a genius. Kyle was your personal protector, he was your childhood sweetheart until you met Max then he became your protector. He would die for you."

Kyle knew something was wrong when he hadn't heard from Liz, usually she would be the first to attack him. Not literally, but she would call and bitch him out first for being there. They had become closer in the last year, whenever she was mad at Maria she would usually run to him. Could it be that she was mad at him?
"Kyle, Maria's here to see you," Tess looked down as she talked to him. Something hadn't been right with her in the last few days, he needed to sit down and talk to her about that.
"Hey Kyle, can we talk?" Maria shut the door pretty much in Tess's face but that wasn't surprising Kyle knew that Maria hated Tess. "I think Liz is in trouble and I can't find Alex. I was wondering if you would come with me to Ryan’s and see if she's there and make sure she’s ok?"
"Yeah sure, let me grab my coat."

"Zan, Max is coming to the door. This ain’t right, we got to spilt." Rath looked at Zan then looked at Liz. This was his sister and he wanted to protect her and the only way he could do that was to get her out of Roswell.
"Go to the basement, the four of you, Ryan, stay here with me. We will deal with Max." Liz looked right in Zan's eyes and said, "I believe you." Ava, Rath, Zan, and Lonnie ran to the basement. "Ryan, before you, uh, abducted me so-to-say, Max, Maria, Michael, Alex, Kyle, and Isabel confronted me about you. So you have to pretend like you know something’s up but not everything. Okay?"
"Okay." Just then the door bell rang; Liz looked up and looked in Ryan’s eyes.
"I want to know everything once he leaves, I mean everything."

Michael knew that Max shouldn't go to Ryan's alone; he knew it was dangerous but it was hard to say no to Max, if it were Maria he would have done the same. But at the same time he felt like there was more to Ryan then said, and maybe it wasn't all bad. "Sorry Maxwell but I can't let you destroy this for all of us."

"Ryan I want to talk to you, now!" Max said it without raising his voice, but making it intimidating. Ryan stepped out leaving Liz hidden.
"What's up, Max?"
"I want you to stay away from Liz, she doesn’t need you."
"Excuse me, last time I checked you weren't her dad or her boyfriend. So therefore, I would say you have pretty much no say in Liz's life." Max looked at him with pure hate, he wanted to blast him through a wall.
"Stay away from Liz. If you don't, you will regret it."
"Oh I’m shaking in my boots. Listen, you’re with Tess what would she think of this? huh? BACK OFF, MAX." Just then, Max hit Ryan in the jaw. They went at it like a couple of kids fighting over a baseball, but neither one of them used their powers. Ryan didn't want to hurt his brother and Max didn't want to expose himself.
"STOP IT, STOP IT, STOP IT." Liz was screaming and then all of a sudden she sent Max flying back on to the side walk, just as Michael was walking up.

"She what?" Isabel was in awe.
"She blasted me onto the side walk. Why? I mean, how?" Isabel looked at Michael thinking maybe Max hit his head to hard.
"Don't look at me; I got there just as he landed at my feet. But I’ll tell you one thing, Ryan didn't look surprised."
"Do you think like it wasn't Liz, that maybe it was a shape shifter or something?" Isabel couldn't believe that Liz would hurt her brother. Plus she was human; there was just no way.
"I think Isabel’s right, I think it was a shape shifter." Tess finally chimed in her opinion. "We need to attack them before they attack us, they could have Liz."
"I agree we need to attack." Max really just wanted to make sure Liz was okay. All Tess wanted was Liz dead.
“Woah, wait, usually I’m the one who jumps to conclusions. Maxwell, don’t you think we should perhaps go to Liz’s house and see if she’s there? Or how about we just follow him a bit?” Michael got up and stepped over to Max.
“No, we need to do this now.” Max didn’t even look at Michael all he could think was they had to have Liz and he needed to save her.
“Why?” Isabel chimed in. “Max, you never do this. You are never impulsive, and if you were, we would be dead. So why start now?”
“We have to make sure they don’t have Liz.”
“Why? So you can be her shining knight, so she will fall right back into your arms?!” Tess screamed at Max.
“We are going, and that’s the end of it.”

"Maria, oh I’m so glad you’re here." Liz wrapped her arms around Maria, catching Maria off guard.
"Uh, chica, are you okay?"
"Kyle, oh man! I’m glad you guys are here. come in, come in." Kyle and Maria looked at each other. Reluctantly they entered Ryan’s house. Right away they spotted Max, Tess, Michael, Isabel, and Ryan.

Kyle knew something was wrong when he hadn't heard from Liz, usually she would be the first to attack him. Not literally, but she would call and bitch him out first for being there. They had become closer in the last year, whenever she was mad at Maria she would usually run to him. Could it be that she was mad at him?
"Kyle, Maria's here to see you," Tess looked down as she talked to him. Something hadn't been right with her in the last few days, he needed to sit down and talk to her about that.
"Hey Kyle, can we talk?" Maria shut the door pretty much in Tess's face but that wasn't surprising Kyle knew that Maria hated Tess. "I think Liz is in trouble and I can't find Alex. I was wondering if you would come with me to Ryan’s and see if she's there and make sure she’s ok?"
"Yeah sure, let me grab my coat."

"Zan, Max is coming to the door. This ain’t right, we got to spilt." Rath looked at Zan then looked at Liz. This was his sister and he wanted to protect her and the only way he could do that was to get her out of Roswell.
"Go to the basement, the four of you, Ryan, stay here with me. We will deal with Max." Liz looked right in Zan's eyes and said, "I believe you." Ava, Rath, Zan, and Lonnie ran to the basement. "Ryan, before you, uh, abducted me so-to-say, Max, Maria, Michael, Alex, Kyle, and Isabel confronted me about you. So you have to pretend like you know something’s up but not everything. Okay?"
"Okay." Just then the door bell rang; Liz looked up and looked in Ryan’s eyes.
"I want to know everything once he leaves, I mean everything."

Michael knew that Max shouldn't go to Ryan's alone; he knew it was dangerous but it was hard to say no to Max, if it were Maria he would have done the same. But at the same time he felt like there was more to Ryan then said, and maybe it wasn't all bad. "Sorry Maxwell but I can't let you destroy this for all of us."

"Ryan I want to talk to you, now!" Max said it without raising his voice, but making it intimidating. Ryan stepped out leaving Liz hidden.
"What's up, Max?"
"I want you to stay away from Liz, she doesn’t need you."
"Excuse me, last time I checked you weren't her dad or her boyfriend. So therefore, I would say you have pretty much no say in Liz's life." Max looked at him with pure hate, he wanted to blast him through a wall.
"Stay away from Liz. If you don't, you will regret it."
"Oh I’m shaking in my boots. Listen, you’re with Tess what would she think of this? huh? BACK OFF, MAX." Just then, Max hit Ryan in the jaw. They went at it like a couple of kids fighting over a baseball, but neither one of them used their powers. Ryan didn't want to hurt his brother and Max didn't want to expose himself.
"STOP IT, STOP IT, STOP IT." Liz was screaming and then all of a sudden she sent Max flying back on to the side walk, just as Michael was walking up.

"She what?" Isabel was in awe.
"She blasted me onto the side walk. Why? I mean, how?" Isabel looked at Michael thinking maybe Max hit his head to hard.
"Don't look at me; I got there just as he landed at my feet. But I’ll tell you one thing, Ryan didn't look surprised."
"Do you think like it wasn't Liz, that maybe it was a shape shifter or something?" Isabel couldn't believe that Liz would hurt her brother. Plus she was human; there was just no way.
"I think Isabel’s right, I think it was a shape shifter." Tess finally chimed in her opinion. "We need to attack them before they attack us, they could have Liz."
"I agree we need to attack." Max really just wanted to make sure Liz was okay. All Tess wanted was Liz dead.
“Woah, wait, usually I’m the one who jumps to conclusions. Maxwell, don’t you think we should perhaps go to Liz’s house and see if she’s there? Or how about we just follow him a bit?” Michael got up and stepped over to Max.
“No, we need to do this now.” Max didn’t even look at Michael all he could think was they had to have Liz and he needed to save her.
“Why?” Isabel chimed in. “Max, you never do this. You are never impulsive, and if you were, we would be dead. So why start now?”
“We have to make sure they don’t have Liz.”
“Why? So you can be her shining knight, so she will fall right back into your arms?!” Tess screamed at Max.
“We are going, and that’s the end of it.”

"Maria, oh I’m so glad you’re here." Liz wrapped her arms around Maria, catching Maria off guard.
"Uh, chica, are you okay?"
"Kyle, oh man! I’m glad you guys are here. come in, come in." Kyle and Maria looked at each other. Reluctantly they entered Ryan’s house. Right away they spotted Max, Tess, Michael, Isabel, and Ryan.

"I am not Czechoslovakian, it’s not possible. Nope, sorry!"
"Czechoslovakian?" Ryan looked at Liz.
"Uh, yeah, it’s code for Alien." Zan had just explained everything to Maria as fast as he could because he felt danger coming.
"I'm an alien? Awesome." Kyle was more then thrilled to be out of this Earth. Liz wasn't sure how to feel, but it all finally made sense to her. Max and her had a past, they were something to each other … but then why did she feel something with Ryan? Was there more to tell that he wasn't ready to tell her yet?
Just then they heard voices and all of sudden through the door came Max, Isabel, Tess, and Michael. Zan was quick to put up a shield to protect us, all of us.
"Max, what are you doing?" Maria and Liz said this in unison.
"We are here to save you," Michael answered back behind Max's shield.
"Listen Space Boy, when I need saving I’ll let you know, but right now you’re just acting freaky," Maria said with attitude.
"Maria, these are bad people, they’re shape-shifters."
"Michael, thank you very much for caring, considering any other time you would of just got a Snapple and enjoyed the show, but these are the good guys," Maria stated matter-of-factly. As she was saying this, Tess put her hand over Max's giving him more power the shield. Ava went after Tess to help Zan, and by the end all of them had their hands together.
"I can't hold this much longer," Zan said.
"Here, let me help." Liz put her hand on top of Ryan’s, sending a chill through him. Maria and Kyle joined the hand party.
“What do we do?” Maria asked.
“Just think about protecting the people you want and send the energy to your hand.” Lonnie answered.
“Kyle, you won’t be able to do much, you really haven’t gotten your powers yet,” Ava whispered to Kyle.
“Why?” Liz asked.
“Well, you and Maria have both been kissed by one of us. We released the seed, so to say. We opened that part of your brain,” Ryan answered.
“Oh!” Liz said, blushing a little.
"Woo-hoo, my first use of my alien powers!" Kyle was thrilled.
"What? Alien powers? Kyle, you’re human," Isabel was quick to answer back but she could feel the power coming from all of them and knew she couldn't hold on much longer. "Max, do you feel that?"
"See? They aren't who they appear to be, Max, they’re shape-shifters." Tess was quick to plant the seed and let it grow in Max.
"Max, don't listen to her. She's not who she claims to be. Listen to me, look at me, I can prove I'm Liz," Liz pleaded with Max. "Zan, put down the shield. Trust me." Zan put down the shield and then Liz went up to Max who put down his shield. She was about to touch her hand when Tess blasted her away.
"Stay away from him, you shape-shifting bitch." Tess went to put her hand up again but before she knew it she was on the ground.
"Who are you calling a bitch? You back-stabbing failure of a Czechlovakian!" Maria had felt so much anger towards Tess and was so confused she used that and aimed at Tess. Maria had blasted Tess so hard she couldn't get up for a minute.
"Maria, what the hell was that?" Michael screamed out.
"That was me pissed, Space Boy. I would watch out if I were you."
"Max, give me your hand." Liz was up and was standing next to Max again. She had her hand out.
"No, Max" Tess was screaming trying to get up but Maria and Kyle were at her feet.
"I wouldn't if I was you; I still can't control my powers it be a shame if I blew you up or something." Maria smirked at Kyle's remark. Max put his hand in Liz's hand, and she gave him everything he wanted. She showed him their first kiss, him saving her, and them kissing in a different life.
"How?" that was all Max was able to say.

"Pretty much. We were separated and it took us awhile to find you. Actually, Ryan found you. Ryan is your brother, Max and Isabel, and is the head of the army. Michael Liz and Tess are your sisters. Alex and Maria are brother and sister. And Kyle was Liz's childhood sweetheart that turned into her protector. Ryan and Kyle protect Liz at all times."
"Wait, Alex is an alien?" Isabel was in awe.
"Yes, Maria, Liz, Alex, and Kyle’s spirits were implanted into humans so that Kivar wouldn't know where to find them. It was by pure accident that you were all in the same town. Maria is an empath; she can tell you who to trust, when people are lying, who they are, what they feel, and so forth. Alex was in charge of the army's technology. Kyle is a fighter, like Michael. And Liz, she’s the queen - she has a little of everyone’s powers. Ryan is the ultimate fighter, so he basically trains everyone."
"Wow, uh, this is a lot to take in." Isabel had to sit down, they were all tired, and it wasn’t just an accident that they were together.
"What about Tess?" Michael was curious.
"What did she tell you?" Ava asked this to Max.
"She told us that we were the Royal Four. Michael was second in command and was with Isabel. I was king, and she was queen."
"She wishes, Tess is not queen. She was supposed to be. There were two great families on Antar; yours and Liz's. Liz's family was actually from a moon near by; she was actually the royal family there. Your families had a treaty. This treaty was made by your grandparents, for your parent’s children. They wanted peace and not corruption with the royal court. To do that you needed to marry each other. Tess was the oldest, so it was always thought that she would marry the King, when they met there was nothing. But then Max, you met Liz, and it was fate. It was supposed to be Liz and Ryan, Michael and Isabel, and Max and Tess. But love is not meant to be a contract. Michael fell in love with his sister's best friend Maria, Isabel fell in love with Alex, and Max fell for Liz. Tess betrayed everyone by letting Kivar in the palace."

"This is just so unbelievable, it's like a dream. WAKE UP, MARIA." Maria was staring at herself in the mirror. It was beyond belief that she could be an alien and not know it all this time. A million questions were swimming through her head, like why, if she has had powers since she was born, didn't they ever flare up? But yet when she felt all the stress, anger, and adrenaline she was able to throw Tess across the room and it felt good. Or was it a mind warp? All these thoughts where giving her a headache. She took a bag out of her purse and took one of every pill she had to help her feel numb. Most of them were vitamins; they weren't going to do much good. There was a knock on the door.
"Maria? It's Liz, can I please come in?" Maria unlocked the door and in came Liz. "Hey how are you doing?"
"Not so good, Liz I have serious doubts about this."
"Well come on now, I know you’re dying to tell me your theory."
"Okay well to begin with how do we know this isn't a mind warp? I mean come on Liz, it wouldn't be the first time. And why did our powers never work before? I mean Space Boy kissed me before and Max kissed you and I felt that angry before but nothing ever happened. How are we alien with human everything else, including blood cells?" Maria waited for Liz to answer but then all of a sudden they heard something explode.

"Mikey, we got a lot to work on!" Rath laughed at him. Michael was suppose to fix the blender but instead blew it up.
"What the hell was that?" Maria said running in with Liz. Rath could see what Michael saw in Maria.
"Michael was trying to show his powers to Rath and he did." Isabel said glaring at Lonnie. "What did you do to your hair?"
"You don't like it, tough!" Lonnie said. Rath looked at Lonnie and then at Isabel and saw that there would be issues between them.
"Yo, cool it." Zan felt that Lonnie was ready to strike too. Always the peacekeeper, he stepped in.
"Okay I believe its time for a little Q & A since we have time." Maria sat down next to Michael and took his hand, and for some reason this made Rath jealous.
"Where’s Ryan?" Ava asked, looking around.
"Outside. I'll get him." Liz said already half way out the door.

Ryan looked up at the stars and wondered where he belonged up there. All he knew was that right now he felt at home. He was finally with his family and even if they didn’t accept him yet, one day they would.
"Hey, a penny for your thoughts." Liz was all of a sudden next to Ryan. When he heard her voice he took a deep breath, he did this every time he heard her voice. It took his breath away, just like it did on Antar. "Well?"
"Uh sorry, just a penny huh? Well I suppose that's about what they are worth. Just thinking about where we came from, if they miss us, if our parents are up there, if we are their only hope."
"Come on inside, it’s getting chilly and we’re about to sit down and have a Q & A." Liz grabbed Ryan's arm and just as her fingers touched his skin he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up.

"I'll go first. How is it our powers didn't work before?" Maria was shaky as she said this; Zan could tell she was worried and scared.
"You didn't know how, you didn't know you had any. Basically you still can't, but you, Maria, could sense our energy and power and tapped into it. It's part of your empathy thing." Maria still looked unconvinced. "Maria, can you honestly look me in the eyes and say you aren't good at reading people or sensing things? Also, when Rath kissed you he woke up that part of your brain. He knew what he was doing." Maria looked down, she didn’t want to look at Michael. Maria could feel his blood boiling. "Next."
"How come our blood is human? How can we have powers and have human anatomy?" Liz was the one to ask this.
"You really don't have human blood cells, it’s like on top they look like it and they will come out normal if a test was taken, but you have chemicals and such in it that humans can't identify it so it doesn't come up on a test."
"So you’re saying our moms were abducted?" Kyle had this skeptical voice.
"More or less. I'm not really sure what they did to them to make them like that. All I know is what our protector told us."
"Protector?” Max was suddenly eye to eye with Zan.
"Yeah, well, consider us your understudies and your protectors. Someone had to train us and protect us. You should have had one too." Lonnie was right next to her brother in case anything went down. Zan just looked into Max's eyes. He didn't want to seem like a threat but to Max, everyone was.
"We did, he's dead." Max backed away and lowered his head.
"He didn't tell us anything about you. We got separated; he was with Tess the whole time." Isabel quickly spoke up.
"Then that man killed your protector. He must have been sent by Kivar to deceive you." Lonnie spoke up before Zan could even open his mouth.

"This is just so unbelievable, it's like a dream. WAKE UP, MARIA." Maria was staring at herself in the mirror. It was beyond belief that she could be an alien and not know it all this time. A million questions were swimming through her head, like why, if she has had powers since she was born, didn't they ever flare up? But yet when she felt all the stress, anger, and adrenaline she was able to throw Tess across the room and it felt good. Or was it a mind warp? All these thoughts where giving her a headache. She took a bag out of her purse and took one of every pill she had to help her feel numb. Most of them were vitamins; they weren't going to do much good. There was a knock on the door.
"Maria? It's Liz, can I please come in?" Maria unlocked the door and in came Liz. "Hey how are you doing?"
"Not so good, Liz I have serious doubts about this."
"Well come on now, I know you’re dying to tell me your theory."
"Okay well to begin with how do we know this isn't a mind warp? I mean come on Liz, it wouldn't be the first time. And why did our powers never work before? I mean Space Boy kissed me before and Max kissed you and I felt that angry before but nothing ever happened. How are we alien with human everything else, including blood cells?" Maria waited for Liz to answer but then all of a sudden they heard something explode.

"Mikey, we got a lot to work on!" Rath laughed at him. Michael was suppose to fix the blender but instead blew it up.
"What the hell was that?" Maria said running in with Liz. Rath could see what Michael saw in Maria.
"Michael was trying to show his powers to Rath and he did." Isabel said glaring at Lonnie. "What did you do to your hair?"
"You don't like it, tough!" Lonnie said. Rath looked at Lonnie and then at Isabel and saw that there would be issues between them.
"Yo, cool it." Zan felt that Lonnie was ready to strike too. Always the peacekeeper, he stepped in.
"Okay I believe its time for a little Q & A since we have time." Maria sat down next to Michael and took his hand, and for some reason this made Rath jealous.
"Where’s Ryan?" Ava asked, looking around.
"Outside. I'll get him." Liz said already half way out the door.

Ryan looked up at the stars and wondered where he belonged up there. All he knew was that right now he felt at home. He was finally with his family and even if they didn’t accept him yet, one day they would.
"Hey, a penny for your thoughts." Liz was all of a sudden next to Ryan. When he heard her voice he took a deep breath, he did this every time he heard her voice. It took his breath away, just like it did on Antar. "Well?"
"Uh sorry, just a penny huh? Well I suppose that's about what they are worth. Just thinking about where we came from, if they miss us, if our parents are up there, if we are their only hope."
"Come on inside, it’s getting chilly and we’re about to sit down and have a Q & A." Liz grabbed Ryan's arm and just as her fingers touched his skin he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up.

"Okay, so since I'm sure you all have questions and we are pretty sure Tess won't come back tonight, go for it." Zan was standing in front of them, waiting, and staring at Liz.
"I'll go first. How is it our powers didn't work before?" Maria was shaky as she said this; Zan could tell she was worried and scared.
"You didn't know how, you didn't know you had any. Basically you still can't, but you, Maria, could sense our energy and power and tapped into it. It's part of your empathy thing." Maria still looked unconvinced. "Maria, can you honestly look me in the eyes and say you aren't good at reading people or sensing things? Also, when Rath kissed you he woke up that part of your brain. He knew what he was doing." Maria looked down, she didn’t want to look at Michael. Maria could feel his blood boiling. "Next."
"How come our blood is human? How can we have powers and have human anatomy?" Liz was the one to ask this.
"You really don't have human blood cells, it’s like on top they look like it and they will come out normal if a test was taken, but you have chemicals and such in it that humans can't identify it so it doesn't come up on a test."
"So you’re saying our moms were abducted?" Kyle had this skeptical voice.
"More or less. I'm not really sure what they did to them to make them like that. All I know is what our protector told us."
"Protector?” Max was suddenly eye to eye with Zan.
"Yeah, well, consider us your understudies and your protectors. Someone had to train us and protect us. You should have had one too." Lonnie was right next to her brother in case anything went down. Zan just looked into Max's eyes. He didn't want to seem like a threat but to Max, everyone was.
"We did, he's dead." Max backed away and lowered his head.
"He didn't tell us anything about you. We got separated; he was with Tess the whole time." Isabel quickly spoke up.
"Then that man killed your protector. He must have been sent by Kivar to deceive you." Lonnie spoke up before Zan could even open his mouth.

"Well uh, see I know there are 2 other people out there who are part of the Antar army who were sent here. See there were 3 ships, one with Max and company, one with Zan and his gang, and then one with me and my company."
"What? Then how did you get with Zan?" Ryan looked at Max when he asked this; he could see the distrust in his brother’s eyes.
"It was an accident. I was in New York with my friends. We ran into Zan and it was like I knew him. After that I went back home but I kept having like these dreams but I wasn't asleep, I remembered our planet and I remembered Zan. I went back to New York and they were waiting for me. We just knew."
"Who and where are the others?" Michael was getting impatient; he wanted all the answers now. Just like always.
"I suspect they are my three best friends and they are back in Chicago."
"Chicago?" Maria raised her eye brow.
"Yeah Chicago."
"Oh."
"What are there names? How come you didn't know?" Liz asked softly and again Ryan took a deep breath. When he looked up he saw Max staring a hole through him.
"Kait and Billy. Neither of us can use our powers without being taught. Zan taught me."
"Listen I think maybe its time we all go home, it’s late and it’s been a long day." Alex was there but no one has noticed him.
”What the hell….How long have you been standing there Alex?” Isabel looked astonished she hadn’t even noticed him there till now.
“I have been standing here since you started the Q&A.”
“Ummm where have you been? We were worried about you.” Maria asked lying through her teeth. She hasn’t even noticed that Alex wasn’t with them when Michael and gang arrived.
“Around. Iz, let me walk you home.” Alex went up to Isabel and took her hand. Isabel looked at him and felt a chill go down her back. She just nodded at him.
“Liz, I’ll walk you home.” Max said not even waiting from an answer from her.

Alex focused his eyes and realized that he was in a dark room, tied up and gagged. His head hurt from where he had been hit by something or someone. The last thing he remembered was going through Tess’s things looking for something that made sense of why Tess was sneaking around with some other guy.
“Xander, I see that you nosiness hasn’t changed since the last time we met.” Alex looked at the man speaking. He was tall, with black hair, and brown eyes. Alex felt like he knew him but not sure from where.
“mmmm, mmmmmmmmmm” Alex tried to speak but all that came out was that.
“Do not speak my old friend, just listen.”
“Kivar, he won’t believe you.” Alex knew that voice, it was Tess.

"I remember you just that you were a nice person and a strong queen. I just remember we were all happy and that’s it." In other words that all he wanted to say. "You should get some sleep like Zan and Rath."
"Okay, how long until we get to Chicago?"

"I'm awake, this better be good Maxwell."
“Michael, please tell me this is a dream. Max is not waking up at……ugh 3 in the morning.” Maria said.
"Liz is gone, she went to Chicago with Ryan and Zan."
“WHAT!?!?!?” Maria shot up and looked at Max.
"And this is my problem how?" Michael answered shoving his head under his pillow.
“MICHAEL SO HELP ME GOD. This is Liz, poor sweet LIZ.” Maria was in a panic; she had been a pillow and started hitting Michael with it.
"Well we need to go safe her." Max said.
"Max, she's not in trouble she went of her own will. She's fine." Michael answered while taking a beating from Maria’s pillow.
"She's not fine." Michael could tell something was wrong with Max he could see it in his eyes. Michael got up and took Michael in the next room and shut the door. Maria was up and getting dressed and packing a bag.
"What’s up?"
"I have lost her. I was stupid and thought she slept with Kyle so I slept with Tess and I told Liz, and now she’s gone."
"She's coming back, she wont be gone forever."
"I know she will come back to Roswell, but she will never come back to me Michael. I lost her, I screwed up and now she's gone and there is nothing I can do about It."

"Oh my God, Ryan?" Kait's mouth hung open, she couldn't believe her eyes.
"Kait, who's at the door?" The came Billy, his oldest and best friend on this planet and maybe even another planet.
"Hi, I'm Liz Parker. I'm a friend of Ryan’s. He wanted to talk to you guys. He seems to have lost his tongue." Liz nudged Ryan who slowly had made his way up to the door. Billy looked surprised, angry, and happy all at once. Kait had disappeared.
"Please come in, I'm Billy. Ryan where have you been? We didn't know what happened to you, you just up and left on us."
"We need to talk Billy."
"What about?"
"Can we come in?" Ryan was nervous he couldn't get his hands to stop shaking.
"What’s it about?"
"Us being aliens" Ryan didn't even look up, he didn't realized he had spoken. He was just thinking, and somehow his mouth decided to let the words flow out of his mouth.

"I think I need to leave for a little while, like to clear my head just for a few weeks."
"Max, you can't leave us now. All of this stuff about Kyle, Liz, Maria, and Alex being aliens and Tess being out enemy, you just can't leave now." Isabel could feel the tears springing to her eyes, she didn't want her brother to leave her. She didn't know if he would come back.
"Iz, I have to. I promise I will come back. But right now I have to clear my mind. You have Zan and Michael to take care you." Isabel grabbed her brother and held on to her close, she didn't want to let go but she had to. As max left he heard a voice in his head say, Come back soon Max, Liz is gonna need you.

"She's not fine." Michael could tell something was wrong with Max he could see it in his eyes. Michael got up and took Michael in the next room and shut the door. Maria was up and getting dressed and packing a bag.

"I have lost her. I was stupid and thought she slept with Kyle so I slept with Tess and I told Liz, and now she’s gone."
"She's coming back, she wont be gone forever."
"I know she will come back to Roswell, but she will never come back to me Michael. I lost her, I screwed up and now she's gone and there is nothing I can do about It."

"I'm here for you if you need me, Zan and Rath went to get something to eat so they wont be here to freak your friends out." Liz stood behind Ryan on the door step of Billy and Kait’s house. The friends he thought were alien, that he left a year before.
"I can't do this." Ryan started to run down the stairs but then Liz rang the door bell so he couldn't run from the demons that were chasing him. "Liz." Then the door swung open and there was Kait
"Oh my God, Ryan?" Kait's mouth hung open, she couldn't believe her eyes.
"Kait, who's at the door?" The came Billy, his oldest and best friend on this planet and maybe even another planet.
"Hi, I'm Liz Parker. I'm a friend of Ryan’s. He wanted to talk to you guys. He seems to have lost his tongue." Liz nudged Ryan who slowly had made his way up to the door. Billy looked surprised, angry, and happy all at once. Kait had disappeared.
"Please come in, I'm Billy. Ryan where have you been? We didn't know what happened to you, you just up and left on us."
"We need to talk Billy."
"What about?"
"Can we come in?" Ryan was nervous he couldn't get his hands to stop shaking.
"What’s it about?"
"Us being aliens" Ryan didn't even look up, he didn't realized he had spoken. He was just thinking, and somehow his mouth decided to let the words flow out of his mouth.

"Max, are you okay?" Isabel was making her way to her brother after Michael had called her concerned.
"I think I need to leave for a little while, like to clear my head just for a few weeks."
"Max, you can't leave us now. All of this stuff about Kyle, Liz, Maria, and Alex being aliens and Tess being out enemy, you just can't leave now." Isabel could feel the tears springing to her eyes, she didn't want her brother to leave her. She didn't know if he would come back.
"Iz, I have to. I promise I will come back. But right now I have to clear my mind. You have Zan and Michael to take care you." Isabel grabbed her brother and held on to her close, she didn't want to let go but she had to. As max left he heard a voice in his head say, Come back soon Max, Liz is gonna need you.

“Michael, I am going to find LIZ! GET OUT OF MY WAY BEFORE I USE MY ALIEN POWERS ON YOU!!! MOVE!!!!” Maria had a bag packed and had already called Alex.
“It’s too dangerous; I’m not letting you go.” Michael didn’t want Maria to get into more trouble and end up in the white room.
“FINE!” Maria stomped out and went into her room and slammed the door.

“Alex, here catch my bag. I’m coming out the window.” Maria climbed out the window, leaving Michael in the front room. Maria climbed down and saw Alex in the light. “Alex whats wrong?”
“Maria I saw them. Tess they hit me and took me.” Alex looked really shaken up. He wasn’t even sure how he had gotten there.
“Don’t be silly I saw you at Ryans.” Maria was looking at Alex like he was crazy.
“That wasn’t me Maria. Something is not right. We need to go back to everyone and figure out why they took me.” Maria just followed Alex into the house she had no idea what was going on.

"Kait, Jesus, calm down." Billy knew that he wasn't human. He had these dreams of this different planet, but he wasn't asleep when they happened.
"Billy, please tell me you believe me." Ryan was pleading; he didn't want his friends to think he was crazy.
"I do." Just as Billy had finished saying this a picture of Ryan, Billy, and Kait cracked.
"Wow. Kait you must be angry." Lexie had just walked in, and she hadn't seen Liz or Ryan yet.
"Hi Lexie." Ryan stood up not knowing what to expect from Lexie, but before he knew it she was in his arms.
"Oh my God Ryan, we thought you were dead. Thank God."
"You knew?" Liz had ignored the little reunion. Billy shook his head yes. "How long?"
"Kait and I started having flashes right after Ryan left, we didn't know what it is. But I guess we kind of sensed danger. That’s why Kait didn't say anything. None of us can control our power unless there is strong emotion." Billy turned around to say something to Kait but she was gone already. "Kait and Ryan, uh, they use to be together. She's a little mad at him for leaving. Lexie is my girl friend, she’s not an alien though. "

"Oh Ryan, Zan, Rath, and Liz went to Chicago."
"Chicago? Oh that explains a lot." Isabel looked at Alex and Alex knew exactly what her eyes said. The reason Max left was that Liz had left.
"Hey Guy's!" Kyle squeezed next to Ava at the table. "What’s up?"
"Nothing. Where are Michael and Maria?" Isabel didn't want to tell where everyone was more then once she thought it be better just to say it at once to everyone.
"I think they are in the back."
"Let's go back there." Alex had read her mind; she took his hand and squeezed it. Maybe this time it would finally work. They all got up and went into the back to find Michael and Maria fighting.
"Space boy I have had just enough of this, I am not your cleaning maid. I'm not going to clean you crap again, now go and pick it up." Maria was pointing to a tobacco sauce bottle.
"Uh hey guys we don't mean to interrupt but i thought we all needed to talk for a minute." Isabel didn't know how everyone was going to react; she knew Michael was going to flip.
"Sure, what’s up?" Michael sat down on the couch happy that Isabel had interrupted their fight.
"Ryan, Zan, Rath, and Liz went to Chicago." Lonnie spoke before Isabel could even think of what to say.
"And Max went on a little trip." Isabel added fast.

Ryan knew he had to go to talk to Kait, he had left last year just as they were getting serious. He never meant to hurt her, but most people don’t mean to hurt each other. Liz, Billy, and Lexie were talking about how they were all going to get to Roswell, luckily they didn't ask Ryan's input on this subject, he was in another world.
"Why don't you just go talk to her?" Liz whispered into his ear, he felt the little hair on the back of his neck rise and his heart beat faster.
"And tell her what? I'm sorry, I don't think thats going to work." Ryan knew it wouldn't, nothing would.
"Just go." Liz gave him a little push. He got up and walked outside and there she was standing next to the willow that they had their first kiss under.
"Hey." Ryan walked slowly towards her; he wasn't sure what he was supposed to say.
"What do you want?" She didn't even look at him.
"I'm Sorry Kait that I left without saying anything."
"Sorry doesn't do a damn thing Ryan. You left, fine you left. But to leave knowing what you did about us about what we were, that was wrong."
"Kait, i didn't know at first. I swear, i always planned to come back for you guys." Kait looked at him, her eyes looked older then the last time he saw her. That's really how he fell in love with her, by looking into her eyes. Ryan saw the tears that were fighting to stay where they were. “I never meant to hurt you."
"Of course you didn't, guys never mean to hurt girls, it's there nature." With that she walked back into the house.

"Where exactly did he go?" Michael was furious.
"I don’t know. I'm not his babysitter Michael. He's not a little boy anymore. I didn't want him to leave either." Isabel was sick of Michael complaining she had no power over Max, only Liz did.
"When is Liz getting back?" Maria didn't much care about Max, she knew he could take care of himself and would come back.
"Probably sometime tomorrow. I talked to Zan a little while ago; they are trying to figure out how they are going to fit four more people into the car." Ava had just talked to Zan this morning, he sounded distant to her.
"Great. Four more people to worry about. That's all we need." Michael always had an opinion.
"They aren't people, they are aliens and we need them just as much as they need us." Alex spoke; he knew that they need them. They were the missing puzzle pieces.
"Hello, Liz! What? Okay, yeah okay. got it." Maria was on cell phone which started ringing as Alex was speaking. "Liz and the others decided to take a plane, it be faster and easier. We need to pick them up at 4." That was only in five hours.

"Liz, oh chica, I'm so glad you are home. Even though I didn’t know you were gone until about 6 hours ago." Maria held tight to Liz.
"Maria, this is Billy and Kait. Did you bring the Jetta?" Liz looked around there were 7 of them including her. Billy had asked Lexie to cover for him and Kait. He really just wanted to keep her safe.
"Uh yeah, i thought that we could put Zan and Rath in the trunk." Maria said this as serious as she could. "Of course I did, but Isabel has the Jeep out there too, so we will be fine. I’m not a complete air head, jeeze." Maria grabbed Liz and hugged her and whispered, "You're very popular." Liz looked at her with her eyebrow arched, Maria looked at Ryan and Zan and Liz knew what she meant.
"Okay so, uh Zan and Rath can ride with us and then Ryan, Kait and Billycan ride with Isabel Okay?" Liz looked at each one and each one didn't say anything so she assumed it was okay with all of them. They began to walk to the car and then something dawned on Liz. "Maria wheres Max?"
