Hi everyone.
I have had this story in my head for a while now so I thought I would try writing fanfiction instead of just reading it. This is my first proper attempt at writing so tell me what you think.

Any feed back would be great, and any pointers would definiately come in handy!
Oh, and if anyone has any beta reading experience and is willing to beta read my story please email me! Thanks

Chapter 1
Liz had been walking around LAX airport for about half an hour trying to find her way to the baggage claim. Even though the airport is supposed to be well signposted she simply couldn’t find any directions to where she wanted to go. “If I’m going to live in LA then I should really get a better sense of direction” she thought to herself while muttering about the lack of signposts. She could just imagine Maria laughing at her and saying something along the lines of “In LA for 5 minutes and already lost!” She was so lost in thought that she didn’t notice the tall blonde standing in front of her straight away.

Isabel Evans fumbled for her cell phone in her handbag as she strode purposefully through the terminal. She had not two minutes ago turned on her phone after getting off her flight from Hawaii and it was already ringing. With a sigh she answered.
“Hello?”
“Don’t sound so disappointed to hear from me Isabel.” Her agent chided her. “How was the last day of filming? Did everything wrap up well?”
“Yes, everything was fine. I’m just about to collect my luggage and find the limo that you insist that I use.”
“Isabel, I don’t insist, the production company from your last film does. They like to know that you get to your destination safely.”
“I know, I know, you always tell me that. I will talk to you tomorrow after I have gotten some sleep.”
“Okay. Talk to you then.”
Her agent was Mel Brennen. He was the best in the industry and does an amazing job. Isabel loved the man but she was feeling a bit irritable after her flight and she just wanted to get home, have a shower and go to bed.
As she was walking to get her suitcase she spotted a slight, dark brown haired girl standing still looking around her, disorientated. She had a look of deep concentration on her pretty face with a frown marring her smooth complexion. Isabel usually didn’t take too much notice of the people around her so as not to draw too much attention to herself. She stopped walking and looked at the small woman. She looked lost and Isabel felt compelled to offer her help even though she would never usually do such a thing for fear of being recognized and mobbed by her adoring fans.
“Are you alright?” Isabel asked the girl. She had to repeat her question four times until she finally roused her from her thoughts.
“Huh? Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were speaking to me. I wasn’t paying attention. What did you say?”
“I was just checking to see if you were alright, you seemed lost.”
“I am. I just got off a plane from Roswell, New Mexico and I have never been anywhere but there so I have no idea where I am, not to mention my poor sense of direction. Sorry I'm rambling.” Liz stated look up at the blonde speaking to her for the first time. She gasped. “Oh my god! Your Isabel Evans! Wow, I can’t believe it.” Liz gushed before blushing “I'm sorry, you probably hear that all the time. I'm not a crazy fan or anything, I just admire your work. I'm Liz Parker by the way.”
Isabel smiled at Liz. “That’s fine. Do you need me to help you to find your way?”
“Would you? That would be so great if you could just give me directions to where I can get my luggage I would be really grateful.”
“Well I'm going that way anyway so I can take you.” Isabel said as she turned and started towards baggage claim.
“You know, I always thought that a big movie star like you would have a whole entourage of people following you around.” Liz confessed.
“Oh believe me, if my agent had his way I would have security and stuff following me but I like my space. The only thing he insists on is that I take the production company’s limo service home from the airport for security reasons.”
When they got to the carousels with luggage going around on them Isabel found her bag quickly while it took Liz a little while longer.
“Where are you going now Liz?”
“I'm going to get a cab to the UCLA campus and claim my room. I told the uni I was coming today so I have to claim my room before 5pm or I forfeit it. So I have about 2 hours to get there. Plenty of time.” Liz explained, looking at her watch.
“Oh, do you want a lift? I go past there to get to my place. I'm sure James, my driver, wouldn’t mind an extra passenger.”
“Really? Are you sure that you don’t mind? It would save me the cab fare.”
“Yeah, its fine.” Isabel said with a smile leading the way to where the limo was waiting.
Isabel didn’t know what had gotten into her. She would never usually offer a ride to a complete stranger, but there was something about Liz that made her think that she knew her. Liz was just a sweet, shy girl. She wasn’t going to do anything to harm Isabel. In fact Isabel actually thought for the first time in a long time that Liz might even become her first real friend since she entered into the movie industry when she was fourteen.
Liz was amazed at how nice Isabel was. In most of the magazine interviews with Isabel Evans she had come across as polite but distant. The side of Isabel Liz had met today was sweet and kind. She was making an effort to make Liz feel at ease, and Liz was now curious to find out what the real Isabel was like, she wanted to find the side of Isabel that she doesn’t usually show people. Maria would freak out when she found out that Isabel Evans was giving her a lift to uni from the airport. She couldn’t wait to talk to her. It was going to be so strange not being about to see Maria all the time and share everything with her, and Alex too. She was roused from her thoughts when she heard Isabel greet her driver.
“Hello James. How are you?”
“I'm well thank you Miss Evans. And yourself?”
“I'm good thanks James. This is Liz Parker, she just moved to LA to go to university. You don’t mind if we give her a lift to UCLA do you?”
“Not at all Miss Evans. It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Parker.”
He opened the door to the limo and helped the two women into the back then moved around to the trunk of the car to put their luggage in the back before going to the drivers side door to get in the limo.
He didn’t see the masked man coming up behind him until it was too late. When he struggled the assailant pulled out a handgun and shot James. As he was doing this two other men were getting in the back of the limo where Isabel and Liz were.
Liz and Isabel had been talking quietly in the back while waiting for James to pack the car when the door was opened violently.
“James? What’s going on?” Isabel asked before realizing that it wasn’t James opening the door. Then she heard the gun shot.
“Don’t worry ladies.” The man getting into the limo with them snarled. “We’re just going for a little ride.”
Then he and the other man getting in the limo held foul smelling cloths over their noses and mouths until everything started going black.
The last thing Isabel remembered was the sound of the limo starting and driving hastily away from the entrance of the airport.
