I get the message from Maria that she's on her way and I look up at them all. "Maria's on her way here. I like Liz's idea to talk to Roxie or Jake or even Nina. Can we get one or all of them in here?"

I get another message from Roxie. She says that our parents are going to ask us if we know about the others ditching. I had no clue about that. Mrs. Wilson is now giving me the evil eye, which I hate. I have to figure out how to cover for them.

"I think maybe we should talk to Jake." I suggest.

Jake might know something about it. I can tell Michael's not happy about his kids ditching and Maria sure isn't going to be either.

"What I don't get is why would Angel, Sarah, and Chris skip? And in what. The only one who has a car is Chris and..." I trail off on that sentence. I think I may have found my answer.

When Max trails off I notice that he looks like he just got inspired or something. "What?" I ask. Then before he can answer, I say, "If you want to talk to Jake, that's fine but I want to talk to Roxie and get a hold of her phone. If I call Chris from her phone, he'll pick up and I can at least find out where they are."

"I think he may have taken his or your car Michael. Liz and I saw them walk out towards your house." I reply.

"Maybe we should send Roxie and Jake both in." I say to Principal Walter.

I walk in to the office where Liz, Max, and Michael are surrounding Principal Walter's desk.

"Waht did Leo do this time?" I ask, anger edging my voice.

I nod at Max's decision. "Good idea."

My car! Immediately I think about my baby that's parked in the parking lot. It's an older mustang convertible that Kyle and I restored ourselves. I love that thing. Shaking my head I realize that Chris must have taken his SUV. Now I'm really mad. He's not supposed to drive it without permission during the week. It's too new and Maria's always afraid he'll start taking Leo's lead and start ditching school if he has it with him. So much for that fear.

At that moment Maria walks in and she's pissed. Trying to calm her down, I walk over and try to pull her into my arms, giving her a peck on the lips. "Maybe you ought to sit down for this, honey," I tell her.

Michael calms me down and leads me to sit. Okay this is really not good if I'm told to sit down.

"Okay this usually more than one of my kids are in trouble. Please tell me it's not Chris," I say. I give Michael a pleading look, hoping I might be wrong.

I scratch my eyebrow while avoiding her eyes. "Well..." I start off, trying to put this so that she won't somehow turn this around so that it's my fault. I'm a bad example, blah, blah, blah. Luckily, Liz speaks up so as to take the heat a bit.

I interrupt Michael to tell Maria, "Not only Chris but Angel and Sarah as well as Leo and Lor. They're all missing. The principal has sent for Jake and Roxie. They should be here soon and we thought we'd ask if they know anything about this." I knew she'd be upset that Chris was missing. He is really the most responsible of their kids and if he's ditching, something's going on.

"Are you telling me both of my boys left? It's bad enough the reasonablie one did this. What did they leave in?" I ask very angered.

~Jake~

A secretary comes to Mrs. Wilson's room.
"Is Jacob Evans here? He's wanted in Principal Waltar's office."

Mrs.Wilson nods at the secretary and allows me to leave. I gave Nina a wary look before I left.

I walked out the door following the lady to the office.
