Warning: This is not the feel good fic of the year, I'm kind of nervous about posting it because Liz can sometimes be pretty out-there-crazy. There is some slash and Liz getting it on with various people (nothing too graphic.) And lastly Liz will be killing people, she isn’t just rebelling she is going full out evil and she’s enjoying it. Also there will be mental torture, and nobody is safe. Even though some, as the fic continues, may seem safe from Liz’s wrath that can change at a moment’s notice. If any of these things bother you please do not read further.
Note: This isn’t a new fic, I’m just reposting this here. I’ll be posting a new chapter once a month (usually the first Friday of the month).
Disclaimer: I own nothing, please don’t sue me.
Chapter 1
With her hands in her pockets and the wind whipping passed her lifting her hair up to flow freely behind her Liz’s mind bubbled and churned as she sauntered down the street. It was such a beautiful night, not a cloud in the sky; stars were clear and vibrant, burning brightly. The air was warm but it had a crispness to it that wasn’t common in Roswell.
Sirens reached her ears, she saw the flashing lights but she barely registered them as they hurried down the road. Liz watched as three, four, five-six police cars zoom passed her, they had to be on their way to the base, the base she blew up. That’s right, that she blew up.
Little Lizzie, Perfect Parker blew up the facility housing hundreds of Federal Agents, tonight was the night she finally snapped. It felt good to let go, Hell she didn’t even feel remorse, but then again why would she feel guilty, she killed Tess Harding in that explosion. Yea, killed her dead, maybe she better explain how she became a murderer before going any further. All of you’d like to know right? Of course you would.
--Earlier that night--
Tess should have been grateful; she spared her life by not voting to hand her over to the FBI, God knew that she wanted to though. She’s a murderer; her best friend was lying in the cold ground, maggots eating his body wrapped in a coffin lined with silk, dressed in his best suit, because of her. But no, she couldn’t be grateful; she had to fuck Max Evans till he was nothing but a puddle of well-screwed asshole.
Now Liz didn’t only blame Tess, not by a long shot, how could Max still be attracted to her after what he knew she did to Alex? When she found them together moments ago after hearing a light bang and a muffled moan, low and behold there was her “boyfriend” the man she thought she loved and who she thought loved her back, going at it with the blonde gerbil bitch, again. It was then and there that her plan began to take form.
Quietly, so as not wake anybody or attract the attention of the rutting animals in the next room, she shuffled over to the couch and lay down and brought her legs into the fetal position, closed her eyes and pretended to sleep. All the while she formulated a game plan, Tess had to die it was as simple as that. Michael, Isabel and Maria had the right idea; she should have sided with them.
It wasn’t long before Tess came to “wake” her up; Max must not be one for extending the pleasure. What she or Tess ever saw in him she had no clue, probably his sculpted abs…that was all he really had going for him.
“Liz,” Tess whispered, “why didn’t you vote with the others? You have every reason to want me dead, why spare me?” She desperately wanted to know.
As much as Liz wanted to tell Tess about her new look on life, she couldn’t, not yet, so she went with what Tess expected to hear. “I'm not a killer Tess.” Not yet anyway, but later tonight, that would change.
“I need a favor from you.” She whispered.
That’s how Liz came to be sitting in the car next to Tess, gripping the steering wheel imagining it was her neck. “I saw you and Max earlier tonight. What was it, a pre-suicide fuck, cause I gotta tell ya he doesn’t seem to hold out very well. Thought you might want to know I knew, after all he is my boyfriend, well he’s not going to be for long.”
Tess opened and closed her mouth trying to speak but nothing came out, for a few minutes she looked like a fish out of water. Until finally her vocal cords seem to kick to life again, but what she said was nothing profound, pity since these would be her last moments, Tess should have at least said something memorable. “I'm sorry, it just happened. I needed that time with him again, I know you’re mad but…”
“Oh no, I'm not mad, or even upset about that, it was just the last straw you know, the last straw in a huge fuckin’ pile of straws.” Liz giggled a sound Tess had never heard outside of the movies the kind of laugh those psychotics gave before they hacked their victim to pieces.
“What are you…”
“Tess, you are going to die, just not the way you thought.” That was the last thing Tess heard except for Liz’s delighted and gleeful laughter as she mutilated her body with the carving knife she took from Isabel and Jesse’s apartment. Ten minutes later she tossed Tess’s body 50 feet over the chain-link fence, that was something she didn’t think she could do, she’d definitely have to look into that. Then she thought of a fire with her mind lighting various flammable objects around the base causing the explosion.
--Present--
As Liz climbed her ladder up to her balcony she slipped a little, Tess’s blood, still wet and sticky on her hands didn’t help the grip she struggled to keep on the rungs. Her heart rate was even and calm, she felt nothing toward Tess’s death, nothing about what she was going to do to everyone she’d ever cared for. Nothing except glee.
She crawled over the wall and onto her balcony, immediately she heard her phone ring. If her parents were home they would be charging into her room demanding to know who would be calling at 2:30 in the morning and the reason for the call.
The ringing continued until her answering machine kicked on-
“Liz it’s Max, where are you? I came out to the living room and you weren’t there. I’ve tried your cell phone and even woke Maria up but she didn’t know.” Sigh. “Please call me back, I need to know you’re all right.” Click.
Right, he just want to make sure that she didn’t see his little 2-second screw with Tess, he wanted to make sure she’s still wrapped around his little finger. Her days of being his and everyone’s lapdog were over, never again would she be a doormat.
