I realize you have a life and all, but it would be great to see an update to Reality Revealed.

Hi everyone,

I just thought that I'd drop a note in here to say that there should be some updates going up very soon - I'm just waiting to have fics returned to active forums in the case of friendship and Love... and I knew him before... Family Connections and Reality Revealed are both high on my priority list too.

I figure that I should also give a bit of an explanation for disappearing though too... I know that it doesn't make it better for anyone reading the fics (because I've been there as a reader too) but I hope you know that I didn't want to disappear for so long. I've had a big, long writer's block which then was compounded last year with the unexpected loss of a family member. It's been a tough time, and work has been really busy too. I just haven't been writing (with a few limited exceptions the result of which may appear on here in the future ). That said, I've missed writing and posting on here incredibly and I@m no less determined to finish my fics than I ever was. So, hopefully you won't be too mad at me...

Look out for the new chapters!

Sorry not to be updating my other fics, RL (including health issues) has been battling with my muse with dubious effect... I'm nearly ready with a new chapter of this, but didn't want to risk it falling into D &B before I post.

I'm making sure I do this now because I'm participating in Nano this year with an original fic. I want to give myself as much of a chance of success as possible and therefore I won't be doing any fanfic writing over the month. This means that these updates may or may not be the last of the year dependant on how much my muse cooperates in December and how busy I am. I hope everyone will enjoy the parts though and, as always, let me know what you think?

Just a quick note:

Some of you know that I have had some issues going on in RL recently. I have a couple of bits of good news I thought I'd share.

1) My portable harddrive containing all my writing has been successfully recovered after it crashed. This has given a definite boost to my inclination to write (I had been seriously worried I had lost a number of fics completely) so I'm hoping for a more productive 2015.

2) I still can't quite believe it, but I recently interviewed for and was offered a new job. The interview process is one of the reasons I haven't been posting on my other fics recently. It's a managerial position, and as mentioned previously a big step up so it's going to be hard work, but I'm really looking forward to it (although with some nerves too). The crazy thing is that I've been put on Gardening leave from my current job though - I don't start the new one until beginning of March. I do have a lot to do in the time I have, I'll need to arrange moving and other good stuff like that, but I am very hopeful that the unexpected time off work may also bring with it a chance to do some serious writing and make headway on WIPs (so maybe keep your eyes out for some new fics from me in the coming months ).

Oh, and of course Happy New Year! I hope it's a good one for you all!
