summary- Tess did not kill Alex but he did die. Instead Max and Tess got married and did their best to raise their son. Shortly after grad. Maria and Liz left Roswell simply because Liz could not handle the fact that Max and Tess were together. Seven years has passed since the podsquad has heard anything from Liz or Maria but that all changes when Max gets a letter from Liz. What starts out as just two old friends keeping in touch quickly developes into a fight for survival, love, loss, and secound chances.
